The original time they recorded the piano and guitar, the likely recorded it in isolation with the drums playing in headphones or over speakers to allow Freddie to hear the drums as he was playing. The drums and possible vocals you are hearing are the bleed from those speakers used to monitor. Bam.
The piano is an absolute bitch to play honestly lmao. Freddie is a very astonishing musician in the world, especially when he able to sing with notes like that while playing piano this hard. And i have to say this, that this song is a lot harder than Bohemian or Somebody To Love, or even Mercury's solo single I Was Born To Love You
