Edit: Hadn't really paid attention before but this video has me keeping an eye out. Just picked up an Ancient from Stage 13 Dragon, so they can drop below Stage 20.
The stage 20 before ancient in dungeons is wrong.. it may be stage 15. I have gotten blue shards.... magic tower and tbh Ice golem has dropped far more than any other (maybe 5-6), magic tower (2-3) and spider maybe 2.. all under stage 20
20m silver = 1 sacred and I want better items to buy.
Maybe the market should evolve as you level up so the items are more appropriate for your level.
This is exactly what should happen. I don’t need a 2 star pair of gloves at level 60. This would be an easy update.
We speak as if plarium has any level of interest in making things better for us. Outside of their creative teams, they overall suck Lol but I agree with that idea of an evolving market

Half a million silver for green 4 star boots. That is all. But they release 20 new champs every month. Think about that 🤔

The Ancient Shards do drop on earlier stages of the dungeons. I myself picked up some of them during the Pythion fragment fusion. I started at stage 10.

Enjoyed this coverage of the Market and definitely agree it needs a complete and total overhaul. Occasional free items as you guys suggested would be great, and also most definitely champion fragments or even superior potions. Better gear and more blue shards would be great, and even the occasional sacred or much-coveted rare champions. Much thanks to Chosen for crunching the numbers. Literally pulled Apothecary from a Mystery Shard last night lol
Good call out on using mystery shards for summon rush. For pythion I pulled 2 sacred shards and 1,150 mystery shards to get the 5 fragments I needed. Leveled up a bunch of rare champs at the same time.
I did the same. But I cracked about 4,000. It was very tedious, but champ training was running at the same time. That's the other time I think a stash of mystery shards can help. I just fed the drops into each other, ended up with about 5x5* food, so ended up getting the summon fragments, and an extra 5 plus a relentless set for winning the champ training tournament.

The only other thing I buy in the market, other than the shards, are when there are common champs for 6,000 silver. It's only 1,000 more than the mystery shards, and it gives me some of the food I need without having to use too many mystery shards, helping me build up my mystery shards for when I need the points during Champ Chases or a Summon Rush.
It's only 500 more considering the cost to open the shard too.

I am not at level 20 with any dungeons. But, I get lucky every few months and get ancient shards around lvl 13 or so.
I used mystery shards for 1000 points when getting Pythion.
Items I’d like to see in the shop are XP brews, skill books, and glyphs.
Thank you for the info! Didn't realize the dungeons have a limit as well. Is that 5 for all dungeons or 5 for each dungeon? Does the clan boss have the same call as well?
The shards do drop on lower levels, but it's really rare. I think I got just a few before moving beyond 13. From Spider 13 I already have gotten plenty of Ancient shards. Remarkably more so than any earlier stage.
Yep I was about to post this as well. I have had them drop on probably all the original dungeons below 20.
I get ancient shards in level 10 of the dungeons. More often in ice than in fire and dragon and haven't gotten any in spider, been playing for 36 days.

Spin the wheel feature for the market. You select the rewards you desire from a pool that has varying rarities(rare books, sacred shards, 500 gems, etc.).
Then you get one free spin per day for a reward(optional: spend "x" amount of gems/silver for additional spins), as long as plarium doesn't stiff us on the optional rewards/chance for receiving good rewards .
They could make the market so cool. Put voids, soul stones, good gear, potions.
Books, rare or higher champs, glyphs, more shards, higher tier gear would be nice
yes, i agree on adding fragment to market i have several champions that i have problems with getting fragment for them.

I think they should include a chance of the rares needed for the mission fusions (that can't be farmed) to show up there. I've been stuck trying to pull one stupid rare to finish the Rhazin fusion for almost 2 years now and I'm thinking I'll never get it. Having another chance (even if it's small) to see it in the market would be nice.
But honestly just about anything they add to the market would be an improvement. The only thing I ever buy out of it is the ancient/mystery shards. It's a bit useful sometimes in the very early game if you happen to get a good pair of speed boots that show up, but otherwise... useless.
does ultimate galek work as a clan boss stun target with his 3 turn passive?? It sounds very good
I stated as much on HH's channel a while back but my ideal shop would have different sellers (the number would match the Alliances), playing with champions from each alliance would improve your loyalty with said seller. These loyalty points could then be used to discount sell prices (not a permanent discount, you could save up for a "decent discount" on a specific item or spread them across multiple items for a small one - they are also capped as an anti whale precaution).
The loyalty points would also open up higher tiers of products, where the highest tier involves a quest such as bring me a level 5 ring, x amount of forge materials and slay UDK 5 times because he's f**king annoying.
So do ancient shards cap at 5 for each specific dungeon or 5 overall per month?
The market should expand different types of items you can purchase as your player level grows just like other areas of the game unlock as your player level grows (for example, player level 40 unlocks auto artifact level up upgrade) then they could offer a chance to buy treasure chests that have random goodies in them, depending on your player level it depends on what you may pull from the treasure chests. Just an idea.

On my FTP account I pulled 300+ mystery shards to finish off my summon tournament earlier in the pythion fusion event. So they definitely have value in bulk.

Here's an experiment that I've tried. They sell 3 ancients for 270 gems. When it's Ancient turnover time in the market and the 1st shard shows up. I immediately do the 5 gem refresh. Soon after I get an ancient shard. So I continue to do this till I get 3 ancient shards. I've done this several times to check the odds. My find is usually between 150- 200 gems you get the same three ancient shards that you buy in the gem shop at 270 gems. I don't guarantee the results but for the most part it works for me. In the long run you do save gems. And if their is a summoning event good time to cash in.
Great video. As a previous Madden Ultimate Team player, I had an obsession for opening packs and kept track of my pull rates for various overalls from each pack. I have not started to track shard pull rates or where I get them from the most. I do want to mention that I did pull an Ancient shard from stage 14 of the Magic Keep today (yes, I unlocked it like an idiot).
PS - what if there was an object in the store titled "build your own artifact". This thing would be super super rare but would allow the user the opportunity to build their own 6* artifact (rarities could vary).

The market needs to scale with your account and there needs to be 1 market. So, combine all markets into one place.
There's one thing and one thing only I want to see in the shop and that's Krisk the Ageless for 49K. On a serious note, I agree with pretty much everyone in the comments but I wanna mention one thing that one one talked about and it's multi battles, they are so convenient when you just want to leave the PC on and farm stuff, I would love to see multi battles pop up in the shop

It’s raid, so you have to monetize shop upgrades…have ‘premium’ slots, unlockable via gems, then have gem and high silver cost items. Lego 5 and six star gear, frags, shards and yea, books/pages
maybe add some epic or rare champs or some void shards or more ancient shards.

As you unlock areas of the game and defeat levels of dungeons/dt items in the shop being able to be items from those locations like oils

I would rather see books, shards, glyphs etc in the market, I never buy champs or artifacts from the market.
Sometimes there are 5 star artifacts with good stats, definitely worth picking up unless you're endgame

Greater acension pots (any affinity) : 200k (don't know a good price for this one)

I think being interactive for Legendary fragments for a new hero... Call it like Hermes/Mercurius the Market God, low stats overall (like can't even farm 12-3 solo) but when added to a team, you get a 10% boost in all silver from that team, or the mine produces an extra gem a day when you summon him from fragments.
Also they should have a mid-end game slot that is unlockable for soulstones, fragments, shards, etc.
So just to clarify, is it a 5 ancient shard cap monthly from each dungeon or 5 total from all the dungeons?
They seem to place high value on items not currently available in the market. To give players value without devaluing these items, they could include them as fragments. Things like Rare and Epic books, Sacred and Void shards. They could include glyphs and forge ingredients. They could also include Champion fragments, various keys, and chests. Further, they could create different tabs in the market, like market stalls, where each tab only features a certain kind of items. One for equipment, one for champions (shards and fragments too) and another for miscellany.
They should have a little bit of everything in the shop, but like the Ancient Shards are Capped maybe other stuff could run off the same type of mechanic!
Anything you can acquire at any point in the game (level dependant) should be up for grabs in the market. If they can make the daily rewards level dependant, they can do the same thing here. It’s annoying to be a level 90+ and only have common and uncommon literal crap in there. As you said, add shards, fragments, potions, glyphs, arena tokens, blah blah.
My new start account is not clearing anything past stage 12 of dungeons at the moment and I have seen at least 2 ancient shard rewards when manually clicking repeat battles

Wow, I did not know about the ancient cap for dungeons...
i tend to see more blue shards in the market during x2 or x10 events. It seems that percentage of shard apperance in the market also rise during that events (eg i get 3-4 shards during event time, where almost none outside of events). About mistery shards i think that we should be able to trade them to blue shrads eg 1000:1
i bought the last market spots quite early, and i guess i would do it again ;) I think in the beginning the market isn't that crap, at least i needed it to get my monk and book him (maybe this also count for the shield guard). Getting a few green shards extra isn't bad either especially at the start, and maybe you find valuable speed boots there for the start too.
The total cost of those slots isn't that huge, and if you are going to them later when you see ancient, why not getting them while they still have value.
First thing I had grab my attention was that at the 6:38 point I can with 100% certainly debunk Chosen's statement of Ancients only dropping at stage 20 of dungeons. I get them at stage 14/15 routinely in all dungeons.
Id just be happy with decent armor pieces. Armor that i actually need is soooo hard to get
I would do old champion fragments from fragment events...so if for some reason you didnt get to finish that fragment event you still have a chance to complete and pull that champ

I got an ancient shard from stage 1 magic keep though... also one from stage 3 spider today.
I think market should be upgraded as you level up as well as the forge(I mean when you upgrade artifacts it would be a higher chance of leveling it. For example to level 16 upgrade chance should be upgraded from minimal to very likely or something like that)
So back to the market.. I think it would be cool if players could interact more.. so if you could put an artifact you own up to the market and some other players could buy it from your clan maybe or even outside of clan
I think a filter in the item shop would be awesome. For instance I may only see 5/6* items and shards.
How do you make room to open 500 shards. I find champ storage is an issue, not enough of it.

It would be nice to be able to buy oil for artifact enhacment or chickens that by buying certain glyphs turn from 3 * to 4 or 5 * chickens
i know this was released a while ago but I would have the market more level based with a larger loot pool, for instance a 5% chance for a legendary at level 100 while if your level 40 you have like 5-10% chance to pull epics or shards/fragments of that levell
Being still relatively new to the game, I find myself oscillating between two states:
A) Absolutely swimming in shards and utterly maxed out space for champions
B) So sorely lacking food I'm buying 2-star champions from the marketplace alongside the shards
So when I look at 8000 shards just sitting there I'm simultaneously struck by panic and ease. Thanks Raid.
They can go down fast during a champion training event of you're going for the top spot. I've went thru 10,000+ common shards during an event before.

@@Asrahn Don't know if it's the most effective, but I take my 4* unlevelled food and feed them. That way I'm not constantly changing the champ and wasting time. Got me like 7 or 8 5* food out of it. I'm at the point where I don't use the shards except for my 3 a day, but I still buy them 100%. 2600 of them got me Pythion as I only had a handful of bigger shards. Non-spender (now).
@82Heniu82 yeah there are rough. I quit spending money on the game like 3 years ago. I refuse to give money to a game company that won't fix prices for items bcuz they are all very over priced, the rng on the over priced items(shards,gear,etc) is absolutely awful at best, and keep bringing out "new" content that's only about money. Plarium is by far the worst game company I've ever dealt with about prices and rng.
8:01 that is actually how i got my apothecary. It was from a mystery shard and i never got one from an ancient
Fwiw I started a free to play 2 days ago and got an ancient shard drop from ice golem around stage 7
There should be a super fragment that worked on all champs, that way we could start finishing out these champs that we weren't able to do when their fusion was out
The ancient shards definitely drop below stage 20 in dungeons. I want to say I've gotten some at 10? Maybe 12...but definitely under 20. I just can't remember numbers.

You can definitely farm ancient shards before stage 20 in dungeons. I'm not sure if there a number cap though.
I’d add rare champions, maybe even epics, 6 star gear, maybe some of the doom tower gear, at least some rare books and epic books.
I’d also like to see a faster way to go through all the champions from mystery shards. Like a way to “assign” a champion to feed and every mystery. Shard I open goes right to the “selected” champion.
I like the idea of free gift that you can use. And I get every mystery shard they have at the store and they work great for food and shard opening event and was able to open 900 to get a fragment of Pythion.
I will say a couple of things:
1. I know Ancient shards to be dropping from stage 16's on dungeons, because I farmed stage 16 dungeons for like 1 year and I have seen a couple of ancients coming to me in the Multi-battle result screens, which was quite good, otherwise I would've never been able to do Fragments.
2. As for the Market, I hope Raid does a, as Chosen and everyone is saying, a 2.0 Market, where it is possible to get Uncommon-Legendary ? Star-ranked gear depending on which highest stage you are able to beat, but no Accessories. The no Accessories part is because otherwise no would learn to love Spider. Spider is sooo useful and the importance or Accessories a lot of times, for newer players, gets so underrated or misunderstood. They should also include Champion fragments, at least Epics and Rares, so I can get More of that Broadmaw and Relickeeper champ for CvC. The same for Bazaar, BUT WITH A 3V3 PATCH. A good 3v3 patch with good bazaar. Same idea for Bazaar.
3. These collabs are super fun to watch.
4. Also, they should include a Merchant (Free version of the Pack Selector, available for all, unlocks at lvl 30, at least any 2 dungeon stage 10, 1 maxed champ): Someone who you can tell to bring certain items, (3 items at max, per week, 500 gems unlock and per upgrade, 5 upgrades ranging from slot unlock to Less time per refresh), including Artifacts of Dungeons only (silver), Shards limited to Voids, Fragments Leggo, Epic and Rare (fusion champs excluded, silver+gems), Tomes Leggo-Rare (Leggo tome refresh per 2-3 weeks, silver+gems), Potions (all variety regardless of any condition, only paid in silvers), Soul tokens (silver+gems).
5. Please buff Taunt set!!!!
Ancient shards drop below stage 20 aswell. I was stuck on Stage 15 Ice Golem for the longest time in the past and remember getting a few from there.
any time i get shards in shop what happens verry rarely

Just to clarify, is the 5 max ancient shards per dungeon or for all for all dungeons combined?
I'm pretty certain there isn't a cap on dungeon ancients. I've never counted myself so idk for sure, but I definitely feel like I've gotten more than 5/month, and I have multiple clanmates that claim to have gotten a lot more, like 7 in a single cvc or over 20 in a single month.
I haven't reached 20 in any dungeon but have picked up more then a few in the less then 3 months I've been playing.
Noticed them pop up over the past week in marketplace
I got my first ancient shard from lvl 10 Ice Golem (around that lvl), so they drop at a lower lvl than lvl 20 dung.
If I had a voice in developing the market place I would add things like:
Skill Books (leggo 1, epic 5, rare 10 per month)
More shards (Sacred 1, Void 3 or 5, ancient 5 or 10 per month)
Exp multiplier
More and better gear
Potions
You probably get my point, just add every item basicly that we use in the game and cap the big tickets monthly, as they already does with ancient shards...
I am a fairly new player, just got dark elhain as login reward and close to f2p (I buy monthly gem and occasionaly a few energy offers from time to time) and realy recommend new players to unlock the market. Doesn't cost that much and as a new player you need to pull good champions so being able to buy like 10 mystery shards per day extra is kinda huge! I've pulled like 2 out of 5 apothecarys from mystery shards, elhain, athel and frozen banshee is also pulled from mystery shards on my account. I usualy buy 2* food there aswell during events, cvc or if I am lvling a new champ as fast as I can do.
Just my 10 cents on the subject! Gota say Ash, I whatch alot of your vids when I have the time to, learned alot from them... So I guess, thank you Mr. is in order :)

the 5 cap per month for dungeon ancient shards is that per dungeon or for all dungeons... as in, can you get 5 ancients per month in fire knight, 5 for spider, etc... or do you have 5 total from dungeons, so say you get 5 from fire knight you would never see one in spider for the rest of the month?
I got an ancient shard from Dragon's lair the other day at stage 9 on my newly started account (started over). I was grinding this level because it was the highest level possible for me right now on auto and have so for a couple of hundred turns have and have received 1 of these bad boys
I had to pull 1300 mystery shards to get Pythion! Used over 2000 to get the 15 shards from summon rush to get Helicath. Great reason to spend the silver, I usually bye everyone that pops up!
They should have Blood Wine in the market that would be a substitute for the 4 potions, and you could use it to augment assentation.
I wouldn't mind seeing champion skin fragments added to the market or even make a bazaar in the great hall to use metals for champion fragments or skin fragments.
A way to be able to get fragments from missed, old fusions would be great!
I have a question about Ancients from Dungeons. At 6:45 you guys talk about there being a cap of 5 Ancients per month from Dungeons. Is that 5 from ALL dungeons or is that 5 per dungeon? I'm curious because this is the first I've heard about Ancients being capped from dungeons. The 5 per month from the Market cap I knew about forever ago.

Tbh it probably seems like more shards come from Spider (for me as well) I think is because we farm spider a lot considering the runs can be very fast and also the amount of silver we earn. My Spider25 is 15-16 seconds as opposed to any other dungeon is passed like 2m30s. I do see the majority of my shards come from spider. I usually only farm other dungeons when its a 2x
