    wow this is inspirational, but my question is why did he not continue doing Honours in Actuarial Sciences?

    • @phuthangmaponopono
      @phuthangmaponopono Před 5 lety +3

      Maybe Honours in Actuaruial Science at UP are not offered but i'm not really sure about that. Since also Wits offers Actuarial Science till Honours, while UCT offers it till Masters. There is not yet even PhD in South Africa, hence the only route if you wanna take if considering Postgrads is majoring into Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Science or any bussiness related qualification

    • @phuthangmaponopono
      @phuthangmaponopono Před 5 lety

      And the bussiness qualification will be mostly be MBA especially if you want to become a CEO one day. If I may ask, are you also studying Actuarial Science Mpho Makoa?

    • @finance123
      @finance123 Před 5 lety +2

      Am currently doing degree in Acturial and Financial mathematics at Tuks , and i think the reason he did not continue to honors in acturial science is because he did not meet the requirements like u need to have at least five examtion and average of 65 in 300 level

    • @phuthangmaponopono
      @phuthangmaponopono Před 5 lety +1

      @@mphomakoa4360 Good luck with your studies and I hope they take allow you to convert next year, but definietely if you do well they wont have any reason to reject you. Actuarial science is one of the best courses. For more info you can listen to this channel as its much helpful: MJ The Fellow Actuary czcams.com/channels/Ods8nlJ6Ony9ZIHOY7u2Cg.html .
      And Siswe Moroaswi yeah thats also high likely to be the case that maybe he might not have met the requirements. Its just that I dont know much about UP, so if you also look forward to do BSc(Hons) in Actuarial Science you gotta find out exactly how much you need to gain entry just to be sure. Are you doing your 1st year,2nd year or final year now?
