Playing a clarinet is nerve-wracking!! They are prone to squeaks and slight temperature change can cause poor intunation. If she wasn't a little nervous she wouldn't be human

I have performed in a quintet a couple times, but I did a solo (sometimes memorized) about 3-4 times a year for five years.

Everyone is arguing about which is easier when it all comes to personal preference. The violin and clarinet are very beautiful instruments and some have difficulty playing any instrument more than others, I play the clarinet and bass clarinet and I dont think it's a very hard instrument but others can beg to differ. Just appreciate the music instead of trying to argue about it because it's pointless because people have different opinions about different things.
