For those who didn't know, Nicole Wray was the first artist ever signed to Missy Elliott's label The Goldmind Inc., and was expected to release a follow-up to this song's debut entitled "Elektric Blue" (2001) but it was never released because it kept getting pushed back due to Missy signing & promoting other artists under her label at the time. There were so many lost voices in the Goldmind that never got a fair shot; Nicole, Mocha, Torrey Carter, Gina Thompson, Soul Diggaz, Danja Mowf, Jessica Betts, So Def, Sider, Brianna Perry, Sharaya J, Tweet.

Both her and Lil' Mo should've made a bigger splash in R&B. I don't fault Missy at all because she put a lot of folks on through her label Goldmind, I just wish they had more exposure. Mo _still_ gets those songwriting royalty checks and airplay.

She met Missy , Aaliyah and quite a few others. The kids at her high school thought she was lying when she told them about his until they rolled out the t.v and there she was in a whole music video looking and sounding gorgeous as ever.
