Fully automated one-piece-flow production line in Arendal, Norway | Kitron Group

Kitron proudly presents our new one-piece-flow fully automated production line in Arendal, Norway. This line is currently used to manufacture ABB products, but its modular design would allow for it to be disassembled and reused to manufacture other products.
This line has been designed and implemented using only Kitron’s internal resources plus the collaboration of students from the University of Adger, Norway.
It is one more step towards automation and robotization of our production lines increasing Kitron’s competitiveness in all regions.

That looks like a ton of money invested in very slow equipment. It looks like that 2 arm robot could be re-programmed to reduce some motion.
