Barry Keoghan is so watchable I am stalking everything hes done. Most mesmering actor
Barry keoghan will win an Oscar one day, I’m calling it.. The man is ahead of his time 🔥🔥🔥..
He should have won for best supporting actor last year, thought he had the best performance of all the nominees
@@tizzyty7915 💯…
He needs to do a movie with Mia Goth where the two are just allowed to do what they do! It would slay the awards season
He is an amazing actor and he deserves it! I first watched him on 'The Killing of a Deer' and very impressive and effective actor--i hated his character but loved him!
Yes, he really should. And he won’t need any prosthetics at all to “enhance” his performance.
Barry was in my class In school. I learned after all the hardship he went through before he was famous. So delighted for him. Never give up on your dreams to anyone who's reading this❤
He’s so handsome ugh, how tall was he ?! He looks tall asf
@@venus3200173 cm
Hes about 5ft if that. @@venus3200
He's 5'8"@@venus3200
@@venus3200how does he look tall he was like the shortest person in the film
Everyone's accents in the film were amazing when you hear their actual voices
Saltburn is, without doubt, THE best film I've watched for a long time. Such a rich script, and brilliantly acted.
I’ve watched it twice and I just can’t stop thinking about it. Idk what it is, it just sticks with you
Could have written this comment myself. Well said 😄
@@mariaLOVE1212same, all I can think about it watching it again ❤
Dealt burn has been a fantastic movie finally a great movie it’s been so long since a great movie I love Barry I watch all his movies the sacred deer is so great movie Barry is in it
Alison Oliver seems like such a sweetheart! She really brought incredible depth and understanding to Oliver and the movie overall. All of these actors are so talented and each of my viewings of Saltburn (3 so far) have made my experience with the movie richer & richer. Hats off to them!!
Alison was really lovely to speak with, she obviously had thought a lot about Venetia's motivations
The cast is fantastic but to me she's essential to this movie. Her moth monologue is just perfect.
@@joseelaberge291 yes. Barry stole the show but she was very impressive!
she is one to watch for sure, she was phenomenal in this xx
i love how the interviewers head is just floating
oliver fvckin a grave left me too stunned to speak😭😭
Like the bathtub scene didn't!!
I have watched this movie 3 times already! twice in the cinema and once on prime, with plans to watch it again soon. it's quickly becoming a staple in my favourite movie collections.
Barry was phenomenal, he played the character perfectly, felt sorry enough for him, creeped out by him, hated him, loved him, rooted for him, he deserves all the praise he gets for his portrayal of Oliver. 10/10
Same here - 2x in theaters (made my dad go see it lol), and several times on Prime 😅
To be honest, I wasn’t even that interested in it and wasn’t planning to see it, but did so on a whim. I liked it quite a bit when I saw it…but it wasn’t until a few days after my first viewing that I found myself growing to LOVE it. It’s like I had to let it marinate, sink in. Now, I feel I could talk about it for hours, and I notice new things every time I watch it. Emerald’s intentionality and attention to detail is phenomenal (ex: did you know the Minotaur statue’s body was literally modeled after Barry’s body?!)
@@DannyD-lr5ygI was also not gonna watch this film because the trailer looked strange but I saw it and it's pretty damn good yes
Barry is so hotttt in the film. The ending dance scene was the ULTIMATE ❤❤😂
Nobody has mentioned the other scene stealer at the end of the movie! Impressive 😂.
Really surprises me to learn that Barry doesn’t consider himself a dancer! I sat through that whole scene thinking ‘wow, he can move!!’
I can't wait to watch it again at home. It's originally brilliant and Barry Keoghan is deliciously phenomenal.
“They can press pause…and look at it” 😅
And we sure did
everyone was amazing, but alison oliver i think stood out the most for me. I saw her in "conversations with friends" and loved it, and didn't even recognize her in this until about halfway through the film! She does a great job at really living through her characters as to where she can be unrecognizable from her other characters which takes major talent. Amazing film!
She was fantastic. I’ve seen an interview and couldn’t believe it was her in the film
I was stunned when I seen her interviews. I had no idea she played Venetia. She was amazing!
I didn’t recognise her either until reading your comment! 😮
Real recognizes real😭😭
LMFAO I LOVE HIM FOR THAT
barry is so talented amazing actor he deserves a oscar for this performance amazing actor
When Barry says he doesnt dance, says he only moves his head, while he moves his head is so frickin adorable!
Love Barry. He deserves the best in his life
I love seeing Ewan talking about his character, so proud of him!💙
brilliant film, best seen in a long time
The movie: uncomfortable, Intriguing, immersive, mysterious, beautiful.
Seeing Ewan so much more confident in interviews is so amazing! X
Agreed, he seems like a lovely guy, not to mention a very talented actor.
I didn't recognise Alison Oliver in this movie. Had seenher in Conversations with Friends and was only while wathing this video,I decided to look her up. Her performance was so good. Barry Keoghan is mesmerising. You can't take your eyes off him even during the really weird scenes. Loved the movie and have seen it 3 times. All the performances were amazing. The story was brilliant, quirky, hilarious and downright disturbing in oarta but cant get enough of it
Excellent film. Excited to see whats in store for you Barry ❤
Awesome well intentioned questions! Thanks for digging out even more BTS insight
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the interview
Barry, the most beautiful man in the world 😍💕💕
Very good interviewer!
The film was a relief from the usual film making dribble, a feast that will take me sometime to digest
Really enjoyed this film, excellent questions!!
I loved the first two thirds of the film, the slow dark build that is incredibly tense dissipates in the last third when all of a sudden the pace changes as we are rushed through to the denouement. The acting is top class throughout though!
0:42 his accent on how he says “together”😭💕
i had to pause and watch and listen to music and the cinematog and dir so brilliant
I just watched it last night, OMG!!!
OMG! Barry Keoghan is so gorgeous. I also liked that he verbalized his take on Oliver. The fact that his object was Felix was incidental. His "love" or the eroticism associated with Felix was more ambivalent than anything. A predator and a psychopath is more interested in opportunity rather than "love." It's more like, obsession. So yeah, I don't think Oliver would be focused on gender. But who cares......all the male leads are gorgeous and Keoghan has a nice ass :)
Him calling it an “object” is such a good way to put it as well , it’s not something he wants to gain “felix” for example but I could say you do see a tenderness towards Felix’s sister in moments
( no spoilers) lol 🎉
Thoroughly enjoyed the film. Some odd scenes but it was fun ride & never a dull moment.
Man I can’t take my eye from the “head”😂 but great interview!!
Where’s the other comments omg this needs more attention
This movie was absolutely amazing.
I wonder what Jacob's reaction to the grave scene was
Watch the film…he was outstanding!…❤️
I accidentally watch this movie. Magnificent! !!
Excellent performance.
This movie hits different when your called Oliver.
Great movie!
Casting agent was a genius for picking all the cast..!!
is it just me or does Ewan Mitchell look like a medieval court jester
Barry Keoghan talks working with Jacob Elordi on Saltburn and filming the grave scene
Black jumper was a great choice. Floating arms and head 🤣
I still can't tell whether if i liked the movie or hated it. Hate is a strong way so i definitely don't hate it but it's just that the first time that i watched it, it was A LOT to process all at once so i think i will have to watch it a few times to fully get it. I'm also aware of the symbolisms and it's actually a lot deeper than most people think from what i've read online... so I'll watch it again at one point.
Yes, it is A LOT. Fabulous though.
Ewan ❤
I fucking loved this movie its great, oliver and filex relationship without the actual relationship but being close in eachothers space its was real! Also those 3 scences the the bathwater, the blood, the grave were crazy, gross and just ranchy but people with those mental problems like jeffery dohmer they would engross themselves in sexual things.. it made total since to me watching crime and the way they obess just like the show YOU!! I loved it and the relationship
For a moment, i thought he was just a floating head
How does Oliver get away with Elspeth's murder? I mean he rips the ventilator out of her body. Surely the authorities will know that was done on purpose. I don't get it. What am I missing? They also would know Felix was poisoned. How does he get away with everything??
I think it’s implied with the poisoning that since the father thinks Felix overdosed on Farleighs drugs, it was covered up to protect Farleigh one last time. The ventilator rip out I’ve read that some people who wake up out of comas rip out all sorts of stuff in confusion, but definitely would make the murder harder to cover up imo. Barry was just going little freak mode
Well, he could always put the tube back down after she's dead, and she was after all really sick and could die anytime. I wouldn't look too deeply into it, because such a sick patient couldn't be maintained like that at home without healthcare professionals (who know how to operate the ventilator) involved - but that's where you need to gloss over such details!
A willing suspension of disbelief. @@user-td9hp6li5h
It's strange in that everyone is spectacularly awful that there's no one to root for.
Unique film
A night out with Colin Farrell and Barry ❤ 😅 yeah I’ll keep dreaming
Ewan Mitchell has that Willem Dafoe thing where he is too good at being creepy.
This movie is fucking delicious. So entrancing, I didn't even noticed the cigarette smoking. Maybe I need to watch it a third time.
these movie takes the cake for most disturbing 😂
Have you seen Beau is Afraid? Blows this movie out of the water for disturbing! 😅

Barry is better looking all around then Jacob!! I want Barry so bad hahaha
i feel the same. i mean jacob is gorgeous but idk there’s something about barry…
Let’s be for real. Jacob is an absolute stunner. But Barry is a little witch. A truly transfixing little leprechaun. Gorgeously built and somehow boyish yet scary. He’s fantastic.
It's called swagger❤
Frrr idk what it is abt Barry but his charm is on another level
The hooded blue eyes❤
The hooded blue eyes do it for me 😍
I just can't get past the floating head interviewer.
Shouldnt have worn that black sweater.... Michaels interview you're just a head!! LOL
Haha I know! In my defence, the background wasn't black on the day 😅
It was sickening… esp the part with the sister. Disgusting, nasty ! Who does that?
These stupid interviews you just know the interview is conducted separately to a akready made video saltburn cant wait to see it
Am I the only one who was distracted by the interviewer wearing all black against a black background?? He looked like just a floating head & hands, what the hell 😂
barry looks hot
damm he hot
Fun, gorgeous, sexy movie!
Barry has BDE
I guess I am vanilla in my mind and with my physical desires due to the fact the lead characters desires and actions in the film are things i couldn't imagine doing myself. I see it as more of a sadistic obsession and a bit psychopathic. He wanted to be apart of his opponent not just his opposition. Almost like interconnected. It's truly disturbing due to the fact it reminded me of the elite and their midsummer parties and Satanism obsession and symbolism throughout the whole film. I can tell the writer of the film grew up in a narcissistic sociopathic society. It was truly disturbing.
🤦
🤨
Blonde girl is Irish? Wtf
Interviewer looks like a fluctuating head
Far out the amount of time the interviewer said 'like' whilst talking to Barry was so distracting. Like Its not like 2005 like you get me.
So bloody annoying. Glad you mentioned this because it did my head in.
I almost throw up when watching the scene with Oliver in bathtub. Movie is interesting though. Barry is amazing in it.
That was one of the yummiest scenes.
that scene was so hot lol
Please can someone tell me why I'm now finding Barry so fucking hot, because I don't get it
His charm, his accent, his eyes, idk his presence is attractive on its own
Maybe not wear black when you're shot against black? You look like a floating head with disembodied hands. It would also help if you showed images or clips of the other actors so we know who they played.
Is he Asian-Scot? I mean this literally. Cheers.
Barry is Irish. Who are you referring to?
We don’t do that in the UK. The lad is Irish.
🤢🤦🏻♀️
Barry is cool he's a good actor. Saltburn rips off so many movies it's hard to count them all. I could see it being cool if the viewer is 16 I guess
I'm wondering, can you give some examples of the movies it rips off? Not arguing with you, just curious
Watching these actor talking about the movie you know they couldn't recognize an actual transgressive and well written movie 😂😂😂
BARRY KEOGHAN?!?????? As in Barry keoghan from banshees of Inisherin and killing of a sacred deer? As in best actor of his generation Barry KEOGHAN? You’re out of your mind.
this movie is a nothing-burger.
Why are you here then?? Dont u have something better to do than comment and watch this??
@@BoomsRiddico4868 yes! I definitely have much better things to be doing! CZcams directed me to this POS. And I watched out of curiosity and couldn’t believe what I was seeing…..pure crap.
@@savdavid STOP!
@@stooplights2192 nope
It’s an everything hot dog 🌭
Were therr no gay men to play these parts...?
There’s only one gay character in the film I THINK (being Farley). Oliver Quick is clearly bi in the film
So should they have to also be extremely wealthy to play these parts? Should they also have been enrolled in Oxford to be legitimate contenders for the roles? Like where does it end, they’re actors playing fictional roles stfu
@@richardcrowley436
Just gay. Gay is enough 😉
@@johnguzman491
Gay actors will suffice..
@@richardcrowley436 careful that’s far too sensible a post. You will find yourself ‘cancelled’. Eddie Redmayne has recently grovelingly apologised for playing ‘the Danish Girl’ who was trans and he obviously isn’t. So now we’ve got to cast trans roles to trans actors (like there’s SUCH a huge trans talent pool to choose from) the World gets crazier by the year.
it's like Hollywood has taken his soul. truly sad for such a talent
i'm talking about Barry Keoghan btw.
how do you mean ?
One of the worst films I’ve EVER seen…….and I love film but this was horrendous
Yeah it was a bit of a chore, though the final sequence was worth the slog lol
Lmao what?? This movie was so good. Sorry you don’t get it
Why are you here then??
Fantastic film. What did you want to see?
You’re incorrect
The interviewer would benefit from journalism classes.
The way he keeps looking up and away from the actors is unprofessional. And his constant use of 'like' is annoying.
Prepare better questions and read the body language of the actors. Barry was clearly annoyed with the chatter around him and Jacob but you completely ignored it.
I’m sure any actor would prefer a more laid back less “professional” interview no? Would be way more comfortable giving better answers when you don’t feel someone is staring at you and acting robotic
This interviewer is absolutely cringe-inducing.
The guy in the lilac jumper looks bored, he comes across as very rude and disrespectful.
This is what extroverts say about introverts ad infinitum and just never learn.
You come across as very racist.
I don’t think he comes across bored or rude. Watch his hands - he’s just nervous
British people say been like bean.
Americans say it like bin.
Stop talking like an American if you aren’t.
Poor film. Didn’t care about any of them in the end. Some gratuitous ‘shock’ moments only repelled. Oliver character miscast - could never believe he would be swept up by the cool crowd.
shocking? rather boring
Barry keoghan is WONDERFUL but the film is not!!
ew why is Barry so cool? i was not expecting to be slapped in the face by his charisma 😭
Get slapped in the face by his… “charisma.”
Because he is Irish
