Awesome. I pre-ordered the Exploration Exclusive Edition. I like the base of the Firelink Shrine, with the grass, better than the Kiln of the First Flame's base. The figure is taller (40 cm.) as the character is standing, and includes the shield. I have already received the email alert to let me know that the package will be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait.

Yeah, I think I like the detail on the exploration edition more. But I just couldn't pass on the iconic moment from that one!
I wanted to get both but I'm seriously running out of space...hope you enjoy yours !
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles Hi. My statue has already arrived. It was curious because the numbering of my figure is 515 out of 500. I asked F4F if it was an error, and they told me that product numbers are not related to the edition size. The product number pool is shared between multiple statue editions. So different editions of the same statue cannot have the same number. I didn't know xD

great video! i was wondering if you bought the GECCO artorias statue? im thinking of getting it but am torn between picking up the re-issue of the F4F artorias or suck it up and pay that crazy expensive price for the GECCO artorias. I just am worried it will be very expensive on the after market for the GECCO one especially
Yeah I got the Gecco one, but keep in mind it's much smaller than the F4F one.
Honestly I would get the F4F statue if I were you, it's still one of my favorite statues to this day.
The Gecco one is already crazy overpriced at retail, don't know how much it will be on aftermarket but I would wait until it's out and there's a bunch of listings on ebay if I were you.
But in the end it's really up to you of course...
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles thanks a lot for ur reply and insight! i will definitely have to think this over, the GECCO one is soo overpriced for sure, im sad i missed it on the hobby genki website it was like $530, i think that price is much more fair than the crazy $765 asking price without any shipping. In my opinion, the GECCO one has a nicer design for artorias, is much more accurate to the game model and the pose is way better and dynamic compared to the F4F one. but is that worth the price for the PVC material and the smaller size... 🤔

How do you feel about some of the unlicensed Elden Ring statues from studios like Hundian and Acy/Sword&Wing? Gecco has some announced now but Prime 1's may be in licensing limbo or something.
I think they are pretty dope but swore to myself not to buy customs. Otherwise, it would never end....

Yesssss sir! It's coming soon...Pontiff and then Nameless King, both reviews are coming. I've had issues with both of them (lights not working, broken parts) so had to deal with returns and replacements, which is slowing down the review process, but I did not forget them!

When you pay that money for such an exclusive piece that also takes so long to arrive from the time you place the preorder....the minimum is that it arrives perfect.

My light wont turn on. Any tips? I've had it plugged in for a while
huh, normally, as soon as it's plugged in (the light in the back turns red) it should light up. You should probably contact F4F support

I believe i may have asked you this before from a different video but ill asked again. Where on earth do you store all your boxes? I mean seriously with that many DS statues you gotta be using up a whole room just for storage id imagine lol (unless you toss them)
Hey....that's a bit unfortunate to hear! F4F statues seem to stay available for quite a while after release so, if you change your mind....it might still be in stock.
And yeah, I have a basement full of boxes. It's becoming quite of a problem actually....I'm slowing down on buying (even sold some stuff) because of that haha

Ofcourse one might say that we have Dark Souls clones with some like Lords of the fallen being of very quality , but it will never the same as with Souls if you know what i mean

There is something quite nostalgic about the first Dark Souls... something about the art direction, the world design, the sounds, that's super atmospheric and unique.
The game is what, 13 years old at this point ? Kinda crazy, feels like it was just a few years back to me...

Yeah, statues have gotten really pricey lately. For 1:4 scale, I wouldn't expect anything under 500 anymore...which is a little sad.
That said, this one is not that far in size from the Artorias statue F4F made like 7 years ago. The base is the same size, it's the character that's a bit smaller. I think the fact he is crouching isn't helping, it makes him look smaller.
But yeah, Artorias was, what, 475 back then? And this one is 550 ? It's more expensive for sure. But not totally egregious I think.
well considering how crazy high Resin cost have gotten i say they are pretty fair compared to some other companies.
