- It's adventure time and nothing says adventure like a good overlanding rig. Once again, our friends at Ironman Kenya gave us one of their overlanders for the weekend which we took to probably the best campsite we have ever seen in Kenya.
Welcome to Loldia Eburru, a full service campsite in the Lake Naivasha area. Beautiful property, sundowner spot on top of a hill, fireplaces, picnic tables and even a nice little building with bathrooms, toilets and sinks to do your dishes. How nice?
For our overlander this time, it has something new. The rooftop tent is truly a game changer. Up or down in lest than 2 minutes. No more folding and unfolding, no tucking in and no more soft cover!!! Even though this tent is a little less spacious, it is the best one we have even slept in.

Before heading back to Nairobi, we finally stopped at the Stopover located on the Nairobi Nakuru Highway, after driving in front of it so many times since they opened. This is such a fun place to cut your journey in half. Lots of food option, souvenir shop, carwash and you can even have a haircut if you'd like. Check it out!

That is quite a big machine. I just love it. This place is very very beautiful. The rain is a blessing, though I would not enjoy walking in it. The fire is thriving in the rain, because the firewood is good quality. The stop over is 👌👌👌
