- Alex Wade is the rhythm guitarist of Knoxville-TN-based deathcore band Whitechapel. We've done a complete overhaul of his LTD Signature Series AW-7 Baritone guitar for 2020. It's a 7-string guitar at 27” scale, allowing for extreme downtuning with its extended lower range. The guitar’s swamp ash body offers an Open Grain Black Satin finish, and its five-piece maple/walnut/paduak neck has a Macassar ebony fingerboard and stainless steel frets. The AW-7 Baritone gets its tone from a set of direct-mount DiMarzio D-Activator 7 pickups, with enriched harmonic overtones and tight low end response. I just got this guitar and I’m in complete disbelief with how good it is. The guitars tonally balanced af and the intonation is ridiculous. The guitar just sings….. I mean screams…

Wish i could afford this beautiful piece. Whitechapel has been one of my favorites for a long time. I got a Jackson JS22-7 as my introduction to 7 string and im trying to build it to similar spec as the AW7

It should may sound a little different because of the pick ups I’m also ordering one soon but you should be able too

Justin Drake no Problem because I thought the same thing as well it’s just sound that’s gonna be a bit different because of the pick ups and we’ll as far as I know most carnifex songs are on 8 strings now I could be wrong and thy art sound pretty close to chapel live in my opinion on certain song
made the 6 strings version with standart 25 scale, please!!!
Bagus SW Whitechapel and Alex don’t really play 6 strings at all, and their tunings typically require baritones. Not gonna happen

World As War considering it’s his signature model they probably won’t make a 6 since they only used 7 strings. Cause it’s for him considering it’s his model.
@@nathanielcava4128 if you check his instagram, he posts pictures of 6 strings occasionally and mentions that he plays 6 strings too at home

Between this and double peddles of a drummer there's no place for a bass player...
if i showed you a mix with and without bass guitar in it you would say otherwise. youd lose all of the low mids.
