I agree with you, but it's not for older people 😀 The streets are narrow and steep, the houses are generally not accessible by car and you have to carry everything in your hands.

Cinque Terre was always on our bucket list as a place to visit, Vedrana. It so colorful and beautiful as your photos show! I know they have a trail along the cliffs connecting the towns that I'm sure you enjoyed. Loved it! Thanks so much for bringing us along.
Unlike the train that goes along the coast, the hiking trail is at a higher altitude and then the villages are best seen. We went down to the coast in every village, and it was a bit demanding because of the ascent to the path again, and because of the high temperatures. Thank you so much dear Kathy and Dave.

I highly recommend that you visit Cinque Terre, not by train, but on foot, on a hiking trail. That's the best way to see it🙏☺️🤗

This is a stunning area to walk. We stayed in Riomaggiore once and spent several days exploring footpaths here. Steep but so rewarding.

We found the Vernazza-Corniglia portion very tough in the heat ... apparently there are many hikers who overestimate their stamina and must be rescued - not an easy thing to do on these narrow paths and staircases!
