The brake rotor backing plate protects the inner brake rotor and brake assembly from road debris, dust and water, to keep your brakes stopping effectively and safely. If the backing plate on your vehicle is broken, bent, or missing, braking safety could be affected. Those are single piston calipers, the plate you are using is it the same for the dual piston caliper? What about the 9.5" 14 bolt rear end?

You don't have to remove the axle to put the dust shield on its a two piece design so you don't have to take the axle out saves a ton of time

WHYYY would you show and obscure and specific use tool in a video and not give any clue what it's called and where we could buy one? It's not in your tool list... nothing.

do you have a video of removing wheel cylinders due to bad bleeders both side of the rear drum on a 2006 Silverado 1500,5.3Litet 4x4 extended cab.
If I need to replace the dust shield and remove the axle do you have a video on that as well.
    thank

Do we need to top off the diff fluid after axle gets pulled? Or is the volume not enough to worry about?

Nice work but way too much extra work. Use the two-piece part from Dorman. I think it's 924-213 and/or 924-222. The first number is 1 side, the second part number is for both. It does get a little confusing there are two pieces for one side. So if you're doing both there will be a total of pieces.
