    If it’s in the loft ,replace the roof tiles.Awaiting approval from the local council,might have to update the insulation to new regs,LOL.

    Can this be applied on PE film coated with PU foam without damaging it?

    Why did they call you in to remove that big job?

      Hi, the big job at the end of the clip was a former film studio which was covered in spray foam. The potential new buyer couldn't get finance or insurance on the building until all of the spray foam was removed. We took away about 5 tons of the stuff from x2 studios. Massive job.

      @@donlee4238Quite a varied amount. From small ‘one offs’ to handling large projects for major blue chip companies. Mainly ‘in-situ’ machinery cleaning though.

    I have some spray foam in wall cavities that I would like to remove. Will the dry ice damage the wood?

    • @OptimumdryiceblastingCoUk1
      @OptimumdryiceblastingCoUk1  Před rokem +1

      Hi, thanks for the contact.
      Dry ice blasting, under an experienced operator wouldn’t damage the wood. The only way damage will occur is if the blast nozzle lingers on the surface. Otherwise it’s pretty much a ‘non destructive’ process.

      This guy is asking about his cavity walls!!!! Sounds like some cowboys may have installed foam to a timber framed property if he's asking if dry ice will damage the wood don't you think??? @@OptimumdryiceblastingCoUk1

      Trust me, the cowboys still putting this stuff into homes (knowing they can’t be sold with spray foam insulation) are charging triple what we charge to get it out!!

      It literally says dry ice blasting

    • @OptimumdryiceblastingCoUk1
      @OptimumdryiceblastingCoUk1  Před 3 měsíci

      Dry ice blasting is basically frozen gas. It’s -80c so it’s extremely cold. This temp, along with a force of air is enough to de bond the spray foam without having to use any form of abrasive blasting.
