My favourite part of all the Suite Life shows was Mr Moseby and London's relationship. Like, I think it was the finale when Mr Moseby told her that she could always call when she missed him, only for London to take ten steps away and call him to tell him that she does. It was one of my favorite scenes

They really nailed it with the casting for this franchise. Dylan and Cole Sprouse are really good with the comedic timing. Brenda Song originally auditioned for Maddie. Ashley Tisdale auditioned for London. And they decided to cast Brenda Song as the rich Paris Hilton type instead of Ashley Tisdale. It was the best decision ever and I couldn't imagine the show any other way. Also Phil Lewis' Moesby was legendary.

and the best episode is when they all played their stereotypes, maddie being the paris hilton type, london the smart asian and esteban the maid, it just really made you see how perfect the original casting was

@@aurorachanel4502 true, they definitely had many good moments, but it wasn’t near perfect (the others characters made me laugh constantly). Cody and sorta Bailey were really annoying, so it was distracting (Cody was more likable in the original series).

I think it's becuase they were supposed to be a weird parallel to dad jokes. Like they never really crossed a line and it was obvious that he was supposed to look dumb for it. People didn't think he was cool for making them. If anything people made fun of him for it.

i would argue that SLOD is not a forgotten disney show actually, its one of the few shows overall (from my memory) that was acutally a successful spin off. they got three full seasons, a crossover special, a movie, and i think a couple hour long specials as well. most spin-off series usually only last like season and then get cancelled.
i think what made this series sucessful was that majority of the main cast was in it and kinda continued the same plot as the original, zack and cody navigating life and causing trouble in an out of ordinary place they live in.
Who said it was a forgotten Disney show? No one said that, cause it isn't. It's still a solid show in its own right and very watchable, but it doesn't have the same set of memorable supporting characters that the original had

Some of my favorite episodes are the ones where former suite life characters came on the boat. Even seeing Chelsea (one of London’s snobby friends from Boston) again for an episode made me happy as a kid lol.
Edit: just remembered in that same episode where Chelsea comes back they got Bob and Barbara to come on the boat too. Still can’t believe how the writers had them get together after the twins left. 😆

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird how Zack and Cody were like 12 while London (and Maddy) were around 16 in Suite Life and now they're all attending High School together? Like if I remember correctly they're not even a couple years below London, they're actually in class together
This always confused me as a kid but I always wrote it off as London not caring about school but her dad making finish high school… no matter how long it took
London techinally never finished hs/dropped out during the original's run because she kept missing her classes by flying around the world (as Mosby points out in this episode) so her dad probably made her redo all her credits since
it had been so long since she had taken the early classes
This show made me want to be rich and travel the world. Unfortunately, that still hasn't happened.

i don’t think i had an opinion on that growing up (or maybe it was WOWP) but Suite Life on Deck is definitely my favorite Disney show. i love the original as well, but the sequel is top tier. something about the Sprouse twins.. i’ve been rewatching it for the past two days and it’s actually amazing how well it has aged, it’s not cringy or anything, it’s actually super funny, the comedy is 10/10. like .. wow.
btw i refer to the comedy not only in the sequel but in the original show as well, the whole cast of the Suite Life series is just the best. whoever picked them knew what they were doing:)

I grew up with this version and rerurns 9f the original. I remember most episodes. That being said I completely forgot Bailey as a character and a person and I was surprised to see her here.
