What gets me about this is how Rosie is referred to as a princess, when according to laws of succession she’d have been queen from the moment her father passed, even before she was coronated- but queen protection program doesn’t have the same ring to it lol
In this case since she was technically queen from birth, her mother would’ve been ruling in a regent position until Rosie came of age, which is why she was getting coronated at 16
she was still a princess because she didnt have her coronation ceremony
And she becoming queen would somehow make a coup impossible lol

This movie is very cheesy and unbelievably dumb at times, but it has an odd sort of charm to it that makes memorable.

Like damn, that felt over the top nasty even for Disney. 😆But also, credit where credit is due: Jamie Chung slayed. ✨
I also best remember Krista Cook from 16 Wishes, particularly for the backstory. It's not often we got a mean girl who's only mean because the protagonist had genuinely, if unknowingly, hurt her in the past.
Krista Cook is iconic and as much as I hate Debby Ryan in that movie, her character did nothing to Krista, her being besticles with the cute guy doesn't mean he can't like other people, it was such a dumb explination lmao

‘Sonny with a Chance’ was actually a fun show. With a few tweaks, it could’ve been fun and campy.
I actually started rewatching it fully expecting to think it was dumb, but goddamn it’s actually pretty good? Definitely stupid at times, but it’s still pretty funny, but the chemistry between Sonny and Chad genuinely had me screaming. Probably one of, if not the best Disney relationship
I knew that Selena and Demi were best friends and met on Barney. I watched the clips of them obsessively. So seeing them in this movie together was a dream come true for me.
In my elementary, they let us bring in our own movies to watch on Fridays. I brought in this one and everyone hated on me RELENTLESSLY for it. Everyone was outwardly groaning and telling me how awful and boring it was that they eventually had to turn it off. People actually preferred to watch nothing instead...

i still have this movie on dvd at my parents house it's iconic! what always pisses me off tho is the dvd exclusive extra scene in the end where Rosie and Carter are suddenly agents in the princess protection programme too (helloo carter's a teenager and rosie was just crowned queen?!) and they say something along the lines that their mission in helsinki was too cold. BRO Helsinki is the capital of Finland and it doesn't even have a royal family why would they need to rescue a princess in a country with no princess make it make sense!
