Neophytes in the crowd were probably waiting for Born to Run...
They instead were treated to a historic reunion with Mad Dog and David and the " E street shuffle"!

I first got into Bruce Springsteen in 1981, I had heard of him and heard some songs but wasn't interested. I was racing around in a MGB through the hills of Austin at 3 AM. with a very good friend, the car belonged to our boss who was passed out drunk on MY BED, so I figured revenge putting miles on his car. It had Born to Run in the tape deck. I listened to it for music, but the second time my roommate said, man this guy just is talking to us!! I thought he meant just the song Born to Run. I then started listening to the lyrics, and long story short, I am a BOSS fan for life. (at least for the last 39 years, have 20 albums, need to collect the Segar Sessions, Devils & Dust, The Promise, and some live ones for sure. Saw him for the Born in the USA tour (2 nights in a row), World Tour 92, The River Tour in 16, and the Ghost of Tom Joard, NOT ENOUGH AT ALL, Can't wait for COVID to be beaten and the Boss tours.

OMG, that was such fun! It takes me back to 1974 when I first heard this album and began my lifelong love of Bruce & the band. And to see David Sanchez & Vini Lopez in the band again, made it all the more special. Bravo!
