For starters make sure you get your USAEUR license to be able to accomplish house hunting! Second, housing can only do so much, they rarely answer their phones and when they do ask all questions then, getting an appointment is a hassle! If you are searching for an off base residence and have school age children ask what school district you will be in (its based off of the bus schedule not per village!). Lastly and MOST IMPORTANT.....try not to get a home that has oil as the heating source, if so make sure to document all the meters even take pictures as proof because upon your departure out of that residence it is a nightmare to deal with certain landlords and they will try and hold your security deposit and attempt to gain more $ out of the situation. There are sooo many beautiful villages within the confines of the KMC best of luck!
