The last part was so good. Experimenting with outfits, proportions and silhouettes is an underrated and unrepresented skill. I learnt the most from that part for sure!
love this format and the way you breakdown each styling challenge with such detail, consider drivers for the challenge and unique approaches to solve :) would love to see more
I love videos where we are using the same clothes to transition from one event to another with a couple of swaps. I’ve been doing this for school runs where I need to look ok and then running. For me it’s the blazer - looks good in front of adults yet I can take it off and start running in the park.
I like this idea :) I think it's so practical because most of the time we are all running from one place to another and need to make things work. Will have a think of video ideas like this xx
I have a VERY neutral wardrobe because of my bright pink hair. I usually feel like it's too much for me if I add even one extra color. A good option I found are matching little pink accessories which is quite fun - I have a pink beanie and socks now (also a face mask!). Everything else is neutral with black&white pattern and occasional leopard print. Even beige or brown are a bit much most of the time, but I feel like I look pretty bright anyway due to my permanent "staple piece" so to say haha
The whole point of office Uniform is for everyone to look the same and for the people to not be distracted by beauty or style differences during work. But the examples you gave are still 100% office appropriate
Loving the seasonal considerations very appreciated. Pleated skirts and flowy pants are some of my favorite pieces to transition day/night with. Really enjoyed this format 🥰
I love the format. Perhaps labor-intensive for you. I don’t do Instagram, re: a place to collect requests for content. I’m so glad I found your CZcams channel. Thank you.
more of these... oh, yes, please! I’m personally still trying to figure out my style, and this (again) was really helpful! You have such a unique perspective, that’s refreshing
I did not think I was particularly interested in style related topics and am not sure what prompted me to click on one of your videos a couple weeks ago - but I am absolutely fascinated by how you approach your videos. You have very interesting content and clear delivery. I now watch all your videos, just for fun, and end up learning new concepts....Thanks.
I really loved this video! It’s really cool how you explain what the hack is and how it works and why & when you use it. I feel like I could use them at any time. Hope you make more videos like this too. The cutaways were super nice 😊
Loved the video ❤️ so many great styling tips with examples. Thank you for the rainy weather outfit ideas. I will definitely try adding color and earrings next time. Outfits are often hidden under my raincoat so scarf will really help change the look
I love the midi skirt options. I love skirts period lol Alsoi think that if a person wanted to wear a feminine skirt and blouse, they can wear other more masculine items like shoes, bag and over size blazer
Absolutely! That would definitely be another way to style it :) I am such a midi skirt person as well, have to force myself to change it up otherwise it's all I would wear :)
@@DailyHelenJ I love that! I think we might need a midi skirt video for spring! Your 10×10 was the great video and the first that I watched of yours and it had the prettiest midi skirt from &otherstories. She needs to come back too. haha
Clicked as fast as I saw this! Been waiting the entire week :D Edit after watching whole vid: Loved this style of video! Recenlt I've been in a few style ruts where the outfits and clothes that I like don't really fit the weather or the day-to-day life I have. That's why it was really nice to see how you would style your clothes for those occasions, eg rainy or very cold weather and running errands. I often feel stuck between my dream-style/wardrobe and the reality I live in... which demotivates me to put in effort into my style.
Thank you for the feedback!! and for watching :) Spring/Autumn is just around the corner, and I'm so excited - definitely a much easier time to look cute without the weather getting in the way. Have a lovely week x
This was such a fun video!! I especially loved the addition of earrings when you're (in my case) bundled like the Michelin man. Would love to see a fantasy version of this! Ie what would you wear on a date in Paris? Or like if you've suddenly became the star editor at vogue?!
hi Helen, a lot of inspirations, which I try to keep in mind, when standing in front of my wardrobe next time. I really like the beige bag, where could I find it?
What bra do you wear with the green Sezane vest top? I bought that from Sezane too but could only get it to work with a strapless bra, which I find really uncomfortable, so I sent it back. I love the deep cut around the shoulders though, it's really flattering. Thanks!
Hi Helen! I have a question that's not related to this video, but hopefully you're fine with answering anyways ^^ I was wondering how you take care of the sezane gaspard jumper? How do you wash it? Thank you for your informative videos!
Happy to share, the only thing is that sustainable brands are a little bit of a controversial topic e.g. with greenwashing + very high prices. My favourites would be Reformation, Colorful standard and Kowtow. I love shopping The Real Real for pre-loved (If I lived in t he US, this would be my go-to). I also like organic basics for tank tops/very simple basics :)
I love the wearability of all of these outfits. Although I don't have these exact pieces, I feel like these tips can still apply to my wardrobe!
Thank you Jemima :) So happy to hear, always prefer to show pieces that are wearable and everyday :) xx
