The God of Mischief shall soon land on our small screens, once again swarming the MCU with his ever devious schemes. But now it seems he’s on the side of good, being recruited by the strange organization called the TVA. Now having a powerful deity alien on your team is one thing, but apprehending them is a whole other set of problems. Surely the agents knew what they were in for when they went and picked him up right? Well, maybe. See Loki has had quite the strange collection of powers over the years. As many comic characters originating from the Golden Age, Loki has seen his fair share of odd costumes and all together confusing powers. So now it’s time to compile and see what this has led us to. We are going to go over some of the God of Mischeif’s more hidden abilities, powers he hasn’t used on screen yet, or tricks he pulled that may have flown under your radar. We can call the Disney Plus series an opportunity to debunk the Legend of Loki. What powers of his are real? Which are fake? Are there any new ones we could see coming to our home TV set in the near future? Only one way to find out. As a partial nerd I would want the one where he can give his powers because since he is a god he can walk through time and space and go back repeatedly and collect all of the powers he don't have....as it said he went back as a raven and was the assistant of his younger self¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tom hiddlestones amazing performance also helped with his popularity. Like who is this guy. Next minute he had saved his character from certain death several times due to fan backlash

"we are not expecting any musical part in the new loki series" well... suprise, suprise loki did sing a little in one of the episodes and it was amazing! Tom has a great voice and the fact that loki sang in asgardian made the scene even better:)

I really wish they had shown more of his powers in the original avengers movie. Hopefully they will in the Loki series!!
Missed opportunity I guess. His telekinesis would've come in handy many times. Could also be a similar issue to Thanos where he had an infinity stone, so showing too many of his inate abilities would confuse non-comic audiences. So they opted for nerfing Thanos to just having durability and strength for example.
@UThink UCan I understand what you're saying. But a lot of these nerfs are for direction purposes; which is debatable. It's not cool as a comic book reader but they favor story over gimmicks for the sake of a more grounded story. If these characters were going all out all the time there would be noone to fight lol.
Thanos has different motives and powers to Darkseid, so he isn't a complete ripoff like Hyperion is to superman.

he really should have used an illusion on Thanos to survive
would be cool to see him become agent of asgard and maybe meet young odin like in the comic Trilogy
I personally think, that the reason that Loki doesn't always use his many powers, is because he HAS so many, that he forgets which ones he has, when faced with spur-of-moment-life-and-death-situations ... which are situations that he finds himself in just way too often =999 =DDD

Loki works by his own ethics, thats what makes him so unique. He doesn't do anything for the good or ruin of something, instead he does it for other heroes and villians only if he has something in it for him.

Now we know his telekinesis is strong enough to catch and toss back a falling building. Weird how he hasn't used this power in combat before...
And how they just casually showed it and not get back on after.. HE WAS SO SLEPT ON AND NERFED IN THE PAST Its crazy

I was happy to see him using his green magic energy as a weapon in this.we never really hot to see lokis full capabilities and powers.he can turn into any objects along with people.he all ready has super strength and durability.but hes the dr strange of asgard but more powerful.he has so many powers we haven't seen and can't wait to see his other powers we never seen.hes a sorcerer
Do you think we will see all of these hidden abilities of Loki in the Loki TV show? Could he use these abilities to help Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy fight against Gorr the God butcher, Magus and the High Evolutionary? Also could he use these powers and abilities to help the Avengers fight against whoever is the next big bad guy in the MCU after Thanos?

*SPOILERS FOR LOKI EPISODES 1-3*
Having 3 of the Loki episodes being currently released, I am happy to say that the telekinesis power made a couple more appearances after that time in Thor: the Dark World. Loki used his powers to summon a Roomba in episode 2 when fighting someone who was enchanted by Sylvie, and he also used his powers in episode 3 to stop a collapsing building from falling on him and Sylvie when they were trying to escape Lamentis-1 before a planet crashed into the moon and killed them.

Her powers are not fully developed in the movies. Neither was loki. Both are very powerful characters who are skimmed when it comes to their potential

Bc loki is considered a villain. And we know villains are always on the short end of the stick. Except for thanos and thats where everythinf shifted. Loki is finally considered ‘good’ now with his character arc and now we get to see his powers in the new series. As a villain he wasnt supposed to be that powerful, he was supposed to be disliked etc. Except he wasnt, so they changed it up. Gladly

The cut off sifs hair thing was actually a story in Norse mythology
Loki can also levitate (ultimate spiderman tv show and as xfinity character) and shoot yellow energy beams from palms (Thor vs Hulk movie) and conceal stuff (casket of ancient winters in Thor 1 movie and dagger in infinity war). And change his outfit and dry off (avengers, thor ragnarok when meeting Hela) (dries himself instantly it seems in Loki show featurette)

My husband made me a fan as I am a dc fan. I’ve became fans of the actors now. Especially Tom. He has great comedic timing, is a great actor, and seems like a real sweet decent guy. He’s one of my brothers age too! Four years older than me!!! Tom needs a Mask movie!!!

All-Speak, I think, works both ways. When Loki speaks, everyone understands him, and when people speak to him, he understands them too. I don't buy that Loki simply learned all languages that exists and that's why he understands everyone back. That doesn't make sense.
Languages aren't static, they're constantly shifting, and after a century or two a language can change a lot. So Loki would have to be constantly brushing up on his languages knowledge, learning new words, phrases, changed pronunciation etc. - and to do this with all existing languages in the whole universe...
