District 9 is such a good movie 🔥 the first time i came across the movie on DVD i was left in curiosity and since I'm a big fan of sci-fi movies, this one caught my attention. Gave it a watch and oh my goodness from start to finish it was an adrenaline rush:)
For me the "Lazy writing" makes the movie so much BETTER- Only alien DNA can fire the Ray Gun??? Ok. Starship Fuel that turns people into Aliens?? Uh huh..
Its just so insane that it works better than an actual plot
Thing is, protagonist is extremely Smug and bad mannered early in the movie, but has now start becoming an alien himself and is starting to feel the treatment as he has sorta treated them.
Also, the protagonist does get cured in the end, as everything that is happening is being told in a interview of the protagonist of his experiences.
