      I swear AP mathematics is extremely difficult in America, far more difficult that higher maths in England. Am I wrong?

    Given the way you do it, I guess that you, for sure, have to know 10x more than you teach us.

    As far as I can tell, you could calculate it this way:
    Sin(gamma) = b / c | multiple with c
    Sin(gamma) * c = b | divide with Sin(gamma)
    c = b / sin(gamma)
    c = 8 / sin(45 degree)
    c = 11.31cm

      Your answer is given to 2 decimal places, the question asks for an exact answer.

    If it's multiple choice then sure 8 root 2. But if it's free response, wouldn't a final answer of 8sin(45 degrees)/sin(30 degrees) cm be correct as well? I mean not all sine of angles come out to nice radicals. Sin 44 degrees for instance has no good way of rephrasing I think.
