As far as hit/shoulder checks objectives go, if you sauce the puck into the corner in your own zone you can hover close enough to it to prevent your own team from even going near or picking up the loose puck. All you have to do at that point is time the hit right so you don’t get a puck pick up animation over the ai. Rinsing and repeating that cycle especially with hitting abilities saps so much energy it gets really easy to hit a player, hover never the puck while it just sits in the corner, let that same guy with no energy pick it up and clobber him over and over. I’ve gotten a handful of the hitting challenges done in 1-2 games focusing just on that

Such and awesome series, keep it up. I am having trouble going some of the moments at a higher difficulty and would really appreciate it if in one of your videos you show on controller how to perform the techniques/deeks you show in your videos.
So I actually have just done that for the Gudlevskis moments - I completed every one of them and give tips on how to do them

What’s the best way to grind the objs on squad battles, strategy wise. I can’t seem to get more than 14-15 goals
Easiest way for goals (for me) would be to make sure the person you want scoring is a center
Win it back and pass it to the center immediately - leads to a ton of breakaways

Not sure if it’s a great use of time, but you can get 3 87s from doing all of the trade deadline moments. Those will definitely help with power up collectibles
Unfortunately they're 85s - and I've already gotten a couple 😅

Love the content, it’s been helping a lot, but I wanted to ask if you have any advice the higher difficulties. I normally play rookie, semi-pro, and pro…but don’t have any experience on the other difficulties
The higher the difficulty, the quicker response time you need to have
Once you hit all Star and superstar you need to learn the AI tendencies and react to them before they actually do it
Playing on superstar is the most helpful - practicing is the only way
but when you're starting out you're going to get destroyed by them and it sucks - but the more you do it, the easier it'll get
I've been playing hockey video games for over 20 years, and the AI hasnt really changed much in a very long time - so it's all muscle memory at this point 😅

Which are thee 3 best Playoffs MSPs to get for trading in the collectibles?
It really depends on your play style and what you need
If you prefer smaller players or big players
Do you need forwards, dmen, a mix
Do you want players with speed and agility or with reach
Anyone but the goalies 😅

On forward I suggest Forsberg, Primeau or Jagr
And for D either a tall player like Boumeester
or a smaller one like orr

There's no reason for it, since the Stanley Cup cards are all released, they don't need to alternate anymore

Week 3: Rantanen, Ristolainen, Oliver Mebus MSPs
