Wrote my test 2 weeks ago and scored a band 9 in speaking. Your tips helped me so much. The most important speaking tip is to speak naturally, resist the urge to use elaborate words in a bid to impress the examiner. Plus it's okay to repeat words sometimes. Once, I caught myself about to use the word "efficient" for maybe the third time in the test. I hesitated for a bit, scanning my head for a synonym. None came fast enough, so I blurted out "efficient" again. Didn't impact my score one bit. Pretend you are having a meaningful conversation with an older, wiser friend; your ideas will flow naturally and your choice of words will not sound forced. Goodluck.

This is the first time I watched an IELTS video with full concentration without being bored even a single second. This girl is really attractive in terms of her most natural conversation and fluency. I loved her grace and how confident she was! I always used to think that these exams should be very formal,but actually It's all about how 'natural' you are. And yes lastly,the examiner is such a great and understanding person!
The girl surely deserves a band 9.

This lady speaks so naturally, no use of high sounding words. Her vocabulary is very friendly and i feel relax watching her. Others just put fear in me

I always had this mindset of answering in a very formal way with unique vocabulary but now i think its about how you communicate with a person normally, thanks you for this video ❤

Oh Gosh! I can rewatch it over and over again! Everything has been done professionally. The atmosphere it looks like TV show rather than IELTS mock test.

I love hearing her talk, I felt like I learnt so much and want to learn more. I’m quite sure all examiners will have that feeling.
I wrote my test last week. Got a 9 in speaking. All your tips helped me a lot. 8.5 in listening, 8.5 in reading and 6.5 in writing. I always knew I was struggling in writing. Fortunately it was fine for what I needed. So Thank you Chris.

I have no idea why CZcams wasn't initially showing me this channel when I was prepping for the test... The simple way of teaching us how things work done on this channel is vastly superior to any other on the website...
Reason I say this is because I was feeling so stressed and confused watching other channels tell me I HAD to use big words and special tricks... Yet over here the philosophy I've heard in a number of videos is simplicity.
I found this channel roughly 48 hours before the test and that little time with you guys made me feel so much more confident to do the test.

She is too natural and one think I noticed about her is she in her conversation she never used in complex word every word is too normal and easy to understand and our tutor teach us use hardest word as much as you can 😂

She was perfect in every level. I have my speaking test in 5 days and others the day after that and I am very nervous. Neither I am a native speaker nor have I experienced such things, so i dont know what to do.
