I think the ride was a success being upside down works wonders for all the grease and fat you absorb while in sellwood

Not the first safety issue Oaks Park has had. 18 years ago, an attendant did not put the restraints over my son and I on a roller coaster. We did the ride in terror as they couldn't fix it. I was badly bruised and my son would've been thrown out of his seat if I wasn't holding onto him. The park was dismissive about it afterward. No one seemed to care. They finally paid me $1,000 after the state got involved. I could have gone to the media.
okay i feel very valid about my fear of fair rides now, i used to go to oaks park for my bday but my bday is in winter so i never got the chance to even think about getting on, which i’m fine with
The old roller coaster? It didn't matter if you were strapped into the thing or not. It would slam you side to side and you would always leave with bruises lol.
You should have gotten a lawyer.....
You should have gone to the media perhaps this accident could have been avoided if they would have had to enforce safety measures due to Your incident. Just food for thought…
The ride was NOT stuck for 15 minutes it was stuck for 26. Me and my sister were both on the ride when this happened.

I was with my friends on the ride, eleven of us all together. people were crying a lot, and we were stuck there for 25+ min. Thank goodness for all the firefighters and help from everyone ❤. Almost died guys

Why would anyone go on that ride in the first place.
Our county fair has many rides, but I stay on the ground. Lemon shake ups, eggrolls and the truck and tractor pull. I'm good. 😊

I've been on that ride numerous times there at Oaks Park, and it is fun, but I can't even begin to imagine the fear they all went through.

Somehow the asambling mode must be activated. The engines can get to this to asamble the counterwight. But that is by very slow speed. So the enginebreaks get in. Its not a lucky swing and be in the middle perfectly balanced.
