I agree. My hottest day in Summer of 2009 was August 10 when it hit 96. My hottest day this Summer of 2023 was 100 on June 2 (but was a dry heat), but that early June heat was NOT a heatwave. We really haven't had too many heatwaves, and I had 2-3 in July at my place here in Pennsylvania, but none in August, so I agree with a largely cooler than average Summer we've had. In fact, it only reached 70 degrees at my place on August 24 of this year. Not to mention it's been a wet Summer, especially in July.
At that time, I had my earliest heatwave I can remember, with it hitting 90+ degrees April 25-28, 2009. I remember getting down into the 20s early morning April 24, 2009, then hitting 90 degrees 36 hours later.
@@RobloxBansYT if you're talking about May 21-23, 2021, I remember that. It got to 90 at my place on May 21, 2021, 93 on May 22, 2021, and 94 on May 23, 2021 before only reaching the 60s on May 24, 2021.

I recall one we had earlier, in 2002 (April 16-19). At its peak we reached the mid 90s.
