I remember it from the 1976 finale of the F1 championship. First live race I ever saw on TV. It was bucketing down.
To be honest, it looks like most modern tracks. I prefer tracks with more green, undulations and less width.
Same. I thought most people did since it's a world renowned track used in a decent amount of international series. Plus it's an icon of the gran turismo series (that's how I got to know it).
Such a great addition to iRacing, always loved this track and glad that we get to drive it now on the sim
jesus FINALLY anyone born in the 80s/90s knows this track very well from gran turismo we needed this

Best thing about iRacing Track onboards are that the drivers are actually good!
raced it a bunch in GTSport. Great battles. And that long straight is a great game of chicken on who is going to brake late.
I love this straight! Gives me time to sip my drink and pick my nose. Usually only have time for one and that’s done in a rush :/
The final sector banking looks so cool!

This track reminds me of old D1GP drift competitions. Speaking of which, what are the odds of drifting coming to iRacing????? I feel like judging is the only real hurtle here. I’m sure you can figure out a good system. 😂

Track has a similar layout feel to it, such as several other tracks. Track is not offering anything unique over other tracks. But, does look like it has a nice flow to it.
What’s this mean iracing? I’ll still hold onto the thin chance of thunderhill. Maybe one day
I never heard of fuji speedway
How have you never heard of fuji speedway? Its been raced on in Formula One (1976, 1977, 2007, 2008) and been a mainstay in the World Endurance Championship since 2012. It was also the circuit where the famous showdown in the rain between Niki Lauda and James Hunt happened.

@@FRFM00 If anything zoomers are the most likely to know this track the world over considering they have been driving it on games such as Gran Turismo and Project Cars since they were very young.
@@vberl9573 well I watch a lot of NASCAR and started watching F1 in 2014 and just don't watch endurance racing
@@brianeckstein6081 fair enough then. If you have time, I would highly recommend you watch the highlight reels for the F1 races at Fuji from 2007 and 2008. One of the best battles of the last 20 years happened on that track between Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica.
