Yeah mine went out too.. I am regretting having to pull and replace. You make it look so easy !! Lol last time I did this with my mothers Lincoln continental it was traumatizing and took me 12 hours to get it out .. lol bloody knuckles and dirt in my eyes..

I've got the same truck year and engine, my alternator also went out last year. Really simple to replace. Watch out for the serpentine belt mine started to tear itself apart one day.
