BTS The Most Beautiful Moment in Life + Wings Explanation Since alot of poeple are confused by the newly released Japanese Blood Sweat and Tears MV, i thought now would be a good time to explain my theories. First, the plot to The Most Beautiful Moment In Life. I NEED U. The story starts out with all sorts of disasters happening to the members. The disasters shown happen after Young Forever (Jungkook getting hit by the car, J-Hope fainting, etc.), except for Jin and Taehyung’s. Taehyung is coping with himself after murdering his father. Jin is already dead at this point. RUN is what happens after Jin’s death- everyone partying and trying to forget about it. J-Hope starts taking the pills and Suga and Jungkook’s fight scene. The fight is because Suga refuses to let go of Jin and Jungkook is trying to shake him back to reality. PROLOGUE is after Jin’s death and directly after Taehyung kills his abusive father. This is when Taehyung calls Namjoon to have everyone meet him in the woods. Jin is already dead, but he is still there with them because they haven’t been able to let him go emotionally. After Taehyung drowns at the end of the prologue, having one last day being with his best friends, is when Young Forever is- everyone running out the maze (their sorrow) and finding inner peace again. Letting go of Jin, and trying to let go of Tae. After Young Forever is when Jungkook is hit by the car. J-Hope resumes taking the pills (he burned them in the Prologue after their fun day together, remember?) and Suga runs away. Jimin refuses to believe this is all happening. He’s caught in a Lie. Now, Wings. Jungkook fears something will happen to Suga. The painting. He calls out ‘hyung’. The whistling we hear at the beginning of Begin is also played in Suga’s short film. Suga would have been inside that shop with the piano and have been killed if Jungkook hadn’t ‘saved him’, or called him out of there, so he wouldn’t suffer the same fate. Jimin is at a phycologist. He is shown the circles played after the other short films, representing ink blots but really reminding him of the others. Taehyung’s film goes back to the HYYH era, back when he was alive. Around the RUN era. The puppy is his innocence, and he’s emotionally trapped in a cage. J-Hope is seen in an asylum. It is after he fainted on the street. The mother painting reminds him of simpler days. (The snickers candy bar? No one will ever know.) Namjoon’s film shows him with the same black bird with the elaborate wings. He drinks the burnt paper and is in a glass area that breaks. (The glass shattering in the Blood Sweat and Tears Japanese version, which was the ending of HYYH with the flower petals.) He misses Taehyung’s phone call from the police station after being arrested because he was out of it. He hates himself for it. “I wish I could love myself.” Jin’s short film Awake is before he died. He’s saying maybe he can’t touch the sky, but he wants to be there a little longer. Blood Sweat and Tears is interprative, but lets go to the clips. Tae jumps off the balcony with a painting of Icarus. Icarus flew too close to the sun and drowned. Aka, Taehyung flew too close to sin and couldn’t live with himself because of it. Jin is blinded by Tae and shown the statue. Jin kisses it in symbolism of accepting he is no longer there and receiving his wings. Tae is shown with his wings cut off- he hasn’t been let go of by the others just yet. Now Spring Day. Jimin goes to Omelas to escape himself, and Namjoon goes after him. Taehyung is finally let go of. Now they are trying to let go of Jungkook. Jungkook is seen with them but isn’t really there, he’s on the train. Being taken somewhere else. Jimin hangs his shoes on the tree, symbolizing death. J-Hope is seen with a paper airplane, representing childhood, and is finally free of both the asylum and gentle again. He’s recovered. Namjoon sees J-Hope and Suga there with him in Omelas- they aren’t really there, but he knows they are alive and misses them. BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS- JAPANESE VERSION. The timeline is back to before Young Forever now. Jungkook hasn’t been hit by the car yet. It’s him being tempted. We see J-Hope’s scene where he burns the pills, but its colorful, like the colors we see after he takes the pill in his short film. Jungkook is also seen to drink the green liquid Namjoon drank (representing the poisonous grail, as the sung about in Blood Sweat and Tears.) Namjoon being the tempter here not only offering it to him but making him drink it. He’s throwing up in the bathroom, and refuses Suga’s help. He faints in the bathroom and has flashbacks to being in the truck in the Prologue. Meanwhile we see Jimin being blinded by Suga from himself. Suga trying to shield him from what’s happening, leading him to be caught in a lie. Jin and Taehyung’s fight scene- Jin says ‘sorry’ after hitting Taehyung. Jin knew Taehyung planned to drown himself if he died. He wanted him to stop. Taehyung runs from him and through the curtains, which as we saw in the Korean Blood Sweat and Tears MV was his transformation. The Japanese MVs have alot of symbolism. Take I NEED U as example. The flower petals burning. “The Boy With Seven Hearts”, as BTS put it at their Wings concerts, holds the flower petals. It was Jin trusting they’d be safe after his death. The Japanese Run MV, the phone booth. Jimin in the water, like in a tub, where he mourned for Jin. Of course, this is all my speculation, but I’ve watched BTS’ beautiful films through this light and understood it. Truly our boys are artists that we will always be thankful for. :)
When J-Hope pulled out a snickers, I went, "Eat a snickers, you're not you when you're angry." And then once he took a bite looking at the painting he smiled and i went, "See? You smiled"

It would have made since if it were all of BTS's dogs and they ran to him because it would connect to the theory that bts was the only thing that kept him sane while his sister and him were being abused by their father.

After the short films came out, I started reading the shit out of H. Hesse's Demian and now I'm in love with that damn book. BTS has me all fucked up with this album. I even highlighted every phrase that Namjoon used from the book :c
Jimin's short film scared me the most😷! The part where his neck was twitching and then where he was singing and the burning piano came up made me jump!

It's might be a painting of all of their faces combined, actually. I sent a screen shot of the painting to my sister (she's majoring in interior design & has been taking art courses since forever ago), and she said it looked like a continuous contour line drawing that they put acrylic paint over. She told me that the piece is most likely a self portrait depicting how the artist feels about himself, hence why it's constantly changing, and seems to be doing something to make Jungkook upset.
While the painting was burning on the MV (begin) you can clearly see Jungkook's lips says: "hyung!" So probably the portrait was not him and maybe it was Taehyung being swallowed by darkness since he killed his father and got a black wings instead of white which is pure.
So there are two realms in this short film series including Damian. We all know Jimin is around water and suga is around fire. Does that mean Jimin and suga represent the two OPPOSING realms?
Jungkook and Jimin had the flaming piano in Suga's part. And Suga had the bathtub Jimin has. So basically Suga was the one cheating on Jungkook. The painting in Jungkook's part was Suga and Jungkook merged together to look like Taehyung and has different colors including the color of the blood which shows that Taehyung is a devil. And the bird also tells that there is a devil in one of them. Jungkook gave Rapmon the bird to warn him for the future. Taehyung saw the mother from J-hope's part which means that Taehyung's devil side showed because he killed his father just to protect his family. Jungkook had wings at the last part of his part which also means that he saw the devil. Jin had no shoes meaning that he is dead. Jin walked to somewhere and it leads to temptation to live again and protect the others. And Jin died because the car he was driving in the I need You mv sank in the ocean. Taehyung had one call and called Rapmon because he was the one protecting Taehyung. He couldn't answer the call and now, Taehyung got angry(sorta) and now made a deal with Jin. Jin will be alive again but a devil. Of course e agreed at bst. That'll be the end of my theory. It's longer than this but for now this is it.
There is also the whistle in suga's part that was in jungkook's part and the pills and painting were in j-hope and jimins part, etc. I'm so confused I need further explanation

I love these little stories BigHit does with BTS and TXT. It's done so beautifully, the way where it makes you feel excited, confused and shocked. The song doesn't play through the video, but they put it where it fits, almost like it's something from Broadway musical, and I love it.
I remember I was so obsessed with these and would watch them on repeat for months, they're masterpieces.... Coming back to them in 2019 is so surreal it's 2:37am and I'm legit sobbing in bed. The nostalgia makes me feel melancholy for some reason 😭
Not my theory but another army's: "The girls with the boys aren't real, but are the representations of their pairs (Vmon, Jihope and sugakookie) and Jin is the center of it. Kookie has always tried to make yoongi stop smoking, so when they fight (in the run mv) kookie gets into an accident and needs a donor. Yoongi gets a call from one of the boys and rushes to the hospital (the girl, a.k.a kookie's representation, tries to stop him but he still goes) and that's why in his poster, he's at the hospital. Yoongi volunteers to be the donor, even though he knows that he will die and he does die. Kookie only gets to know when he's recovered, which is the scene where the girl, a.k.a Yoongi's representation, is not in her hospital room when kookie goes to give her the flowers. What if Namjoon actually killed Tae's father while trying to save Tae but Tae goes to jail himself in order to protect Namjoon and that's why he wants to call Namjoon but Namjoon isn't picking up. Tae was Namjoon's best friend, but now Namjoon can't face Tae (always looking at your back) because he's not brave enough for all this. The girl with J-hope is the representation of Jimin, not Hobi's. Hobi's quote was 'I'm happy as long as you can shine', which indicates he's selfless but Jimin is slightly self-centered (not in a bad way) because he's too mentally depressed and can't stop focusing on himself and how he's not good enough. Jimin tries to kill himself, that's why he and the girl fall on the floor and hobi tries to save Jimin, running with him under the rain and that's why Jimin is always wet. He died on Hobi's back on the way to the hospital, meaning he gave up on himself. Jin is the center of all this, that's why in the notes he never mentioned the girls but only the boys, because they're all for him. The girl getting hit and him wearing the same clothes as in 'I need u'. When he's holding the petals is the moment his whole world fell apart. Tae was in jail. Namjoon committed suicide, Hobi does too later on with this pills, Yoongi died for Kookie because he felt guilty and Jin saw all this happening with this friends, that's why he wants to go back in time to save them all. That's the message BTS wanted to deliver, that no matter what, you need to love yourself because that not only save you, but everyone around you as well."
This whole Wings film is so beautiful and meaningful, it’s just a reminder that we should always be thankful for what we have because you never know what happens tomorrow. ❤️✨❤️

I see this as a way that they are trying express and emphasize how if one of them leaves the group they all start to fall apart. Almost like a domino effect.
If anyone is wondering what Namjoon is saying in the beginning of each members solo, make sure to read 'Demian'. It's a book written by Hermann Hesse and nearly all of the quotes are from this book. 😉💜

And all i know here is that From begin in Jungkook's part, he sees into the past or future of Suga dying in that car accident. But i also feel to pull such a powerful act one must make mens with the devil. I mean you are cheating death. is that why he grew crow wings at the end. Too much symbolism going on here and my head hurts but im trying to fit piece by piece in. The others connect somehow too im still trying to figure it out

I mean, in one of their mv, JK was seen almost getting hit by a car, and then in the Love Yourself era, JK was seen in a wheelchair, so I bet it was JK who got hit. Just in case you all didn't notice, the petals Jin burn are very similar to the ones he has projected onto his shoulder area in another MV (can't remember which one) . I think it means that he is gone and he is looking back and remembering those petals as a symbol of his old life when he was on Earth with his friends. I'm not sure because I still haven't read Demian (I'm trying my best to find it in England so that I don't have to buy it on Amazon or EBay- please tell me if you know anywhere in or near London!) and you all probably have your own theories, however, I am open to suggestions! 😊
Does anybody understand wat these MV ment? They are all contacting each other with signs that are from the beggining of this MV. 😵there all going to die but when JK foung a bird art, the birds. My theory is: RM and V are related which is why in I Need U and Run their characters were close, V lives in an abusive home with his family and RM is his cousin. The locked phone booth symbolizes when Taehyung asked for a phone call RM didn't answer. V gets caught by the police while running away from home, but RM isn't there to help him run like in the Run MV and V gets caught. Somehow V dies(probably in jail). It's might be a painting of all of their faces combined, actually. I sent a screen shot of the painting to my sister (she's majoring in interior design & has been taking art courses since forever ago), and she said it looked like a continuous contour line drawing that they put acrylic paint over. She told me that the piece is most likely a self portrait depicting how the artist feels about himself, hence why it's constantly changing, and seems to be doing something to make Jungkook upset.
While the painting was burning on the MV (begin) you can clearly see Jungkook's lips says: "hyung!" So probably the portrait was not him and maybe it was Taehyung being swallowed by darkness since he killed his father and got a black wings instead of white which is pure.

Jungkook and Jimin had the flaming piano in Suga's part. And Suga had the bathtub Jimin has. So basically Suga was the one cheating on Jungkook. The painting in Jungkook's part was Suga and Jungkook merged together to look like Taehyung and has different colors including the color of the blood which shows that Taehyung is a devil. And the bird also tells that there is a devil in one of them. Jungkook gave Rapmon the bird to warn him for the future. Taehyung saw the mother from J-hope's part which means that Taehyung's devil side showed because he killed his father just to protect his family. Jungkook had wings at the last part of his part which also means that he saw the devil. Jin had no shoes meaning that he is dead. Jin walked to somewhere and it leads to temptation to live again and protect the others. And Jin died because the car he was driving in the I need You mv sank in the ocean. Taehyung had one call and called Rapmon because he was the one protecting Taehyung. He couldn't answer the call and now, Taehyung got angry(sorta) and now made a deal with Jin. Jin will be alive again but a devil. Of course e agreed at bst. That'll be the end of my theory. It's longer than this but for now this is it.

I love these little stories BigHit does with BTS and TXT. It's done so beautifully, the way where it makes you feel excited, confused and shocked. The song doesn't play through the video, but they put it where it fits, almost like it's something from Broadway musical, and I love it.
I remember I was so obsessed with these and would watch them on repeat for months, they're masterpieces.... Coming back to them in 2019 is so surreal it's 2:37am and I'm legit sobbing in bed. The nostalgia makes me feel melancholy for some reason 😭

"The girls with the boys aren't real, but are the representations of their pairs (Vmon, Jihope and sugakookie) and Jin is the center of it.

Kookie only gets to know when he's recovered, which is the scene where the girl, a.k.a Yoongi's representation, is not in her hospital room when kookie goes to give her the flowers.
What if Namjoon actually killed Tae's father while trying to save Tae but Tae goes to jail himself in order to protect Namjoon and that's why he wants to call Namjoon but Namjoon isn't picking up. Tae was Namjoon's best friend, but now Namjoon can't face Tae (always looking at your back) because he's not brave enough for all this.
The girl with J-hope is the representation of Jimin, not Hobi's. Hobi's quote was 'I'm happy as long as you can shine', which indicates he's selfless but Jimin is slightly self-centered (not in a bad way) because he's too mentally depressed and can't stop focusing on himself and how he's not good enough. Jimin tries to kill himself, that's why he and the girl fall on the floor and hobi tries to save Jimin, running with him under the rain and that's why Jimin is always wet. He died on Hobi's back on the way to the hospital, meaning he gave up on himself.
Jin is the center of all this, that's why in the notes he never mentioned the girls but only the boys, because they're all for him. The girl getting hit and him wearing the same clothes as in 'I need u'. When he's holding the petals is the moment his whole world fell apart. Tae was in jail. Namjoon committed suicide, Hobi does too later on with this pills, Yoongi died for Kookie because he felt guilty and Jin saw all this happening with this friends, that's why he wants to go back in time to save them all.
That's the message BTS wanted to deliver, that no matter what, you need to love yourself because that not only save you, but everyone around you as well."

And all i know here is that From begin in Jungkook's part, he sees into the past or future of Suga dying in that car accident. So his whistle was to guide suga away from the incident saving his life instead of watching him die again hence why he was crying. But i also feel to pull such a powerful act one must make mens with the devil. I mean you are cheating death. is that why he grew crow wings at the end. Too much symbolism going on here and my head hurts but im trying to fit piece by piece in. The others connect somehow too im still trying to figure it out

Just in case you all didn't notice, the petals Jin burn are very similar to the ones he has projected onto his shoulder area in another MV (can't remember which one) . I think it means that he is gone and he is looking back and remembering those petals as a symbol of his old life when he was on Earth with his friends. My theory is: RM and V are related which is why in I Need U and Run their characters were close, V lives in an abusive home with his family and RM is his cousin. The locked phone booth symbolizes when Taehyung asked for a phone call RM didn't answer. V gets caught by the police while running away from home, but RM isn't there to help him run like in the Run MV and V gets caught. Somehow V dies(probably in jail). J-hope is a drug addict and dies of overdose.Jin is the one family member born into the "good" part of the family that wants to have nothing to do with the others, but he cares for the others and from their pain comes his suicide.Suga is a Klepto who dies by getting run over.Jimin goes so insane from the mixture of drugs and overbearing monitor over him by asylum heads. Jungkook's paintings tell him about people he loves and he gets premonitions from them. The premonitions are overbearing and drive him into insanity.
