Hockey players are so cute and stupid. I love them all.
actually a lot of them are very smart. remember they have to hold a university degree usually to be able to get on a farm team. same with football and other sports. some get lucky yes but the norm is to go through a school and play on school teams and eventually there will be prospectors in the crowed.

Irish guy here, hockey looks so hard. I could never do any of that. The puck looks so small and the net is tiny too. Respect to everyone who plays it.
I played travel ice hockey, and let me tell you once you get used to the ice, the rest is second nature. The feel of the puck on your stick is satisfying...I always say hockey is for lazy people who want to glide around and not bend down to pick up a ball, but instead use a long stick 😆

Winston Teoh goalies aren’t supposed to let in shots that come from the red line (half the ice)
Goalies typically stop over 90% of shots. But their equipment makes it difficult for them to skate or stick-handle, so they can fumble easily when playing the puck. And if the puck gets behind them, it can be really difficult to see with their helmet on.
i play hockey and one of my teammates shot the puck down the goalies pants and once the goalie for a team we played couldn’t get their water bottle onto the top of the net and it kept falling off the other side

Why do they have empty net sometimes ?
A team empties their net if they’re down a goal or two in the last few minutes so they can have 6 skaters instead of 5, but if the other team gets free with the puck it’s an easy goal so you have to play it safe due to the risk
