You had me at MADE IN THE USA that's when I hit that like button.
Me too.
One of my favourite things about working with silver and gold is that it's easy to reform into ingots when you screw up 😅
Absolutely fantastic! I have recently started making coin rings and your videos (and dies from Jason’s works) really helped me to create great masterpieces from the word go. Very impressed how your “jewellery making skills” has developed from coin rings to full on jewellery manufacturing from melting down all the way to a finished product. Never going to sell my silver shavings, keeping it for when I get to this skill level and tool wish list!
Right on thanks! Coin rings are the gateway drug of the jewelry world I have discovered :)
This kind of content is why I keep saying this is the best channel on CZcams in this genre. Absolutely stunning work!! Very well done.
Thanks! I have had a great time coming up with new stuff to share :)
Ohhhhh that’s how the design silver is made cool
Thanks for that👍🏽
A childhood friend's Father was a goldsmith, I loved watching him work in his garage workshop.
The lace one was out of this world beautiful. I wonder how it would look using some lace off of a wedding dress or veil? Plus I wouldn't want mine darkened either.
Love this video! Takes me back to my high school days when l took metal shop class and made silver jewelry. You have a great workshop!!
Thank you, I always forget about the different pattern materials. All those rings look awesome.
Glad you like them!
It is really amazing how the textures transfer to the metal, looking quite awesome!!
Be sure to check out all the rings I have for sale on my website! www.changeyoucanwear.net
Very nice job, supreme quality and craftsmanship. You are truly blessed with talent.
And YAY steel wool! One of my favorite polishing and finishing ‘tools’!
Excellent discrimination of how you work. I have learned so much from your video s. Well done
change you can wear i would love to send you pics of my work and the very rudimentary tools i use. i pride myself on how few tools i use and how quick i can produce one. i use a stove to anneal, welder pick, claw hammer, needle nose plyers, screwdriver, socket, chainsaw file, flat file, sandpaper and a buffing wheel on a bench grinder. i do it seated on my couch at my coffee table i can do one in about an hour and half and it keeps the kids amazed. my daughters friends acted like i did magic like couldnt believe a human could do that. i make beautiful rings from nothing. i pick up culled silver quarters at my local flea market 3 for $10 i only make them for female family or close friends. i made me and my wifes wedding rings i learned to make them for my wife. it was for her i started
this is amazing. you inspire me to start with something like this. been dreaming of crafting something beautiful like this for years.
Right on!
Enjoyed watching your work. Very Beautiful rings
I love your videos. Your craftsmanship is amazing. Happy holidays from Germany.

Great tutorial! Love your work.
Love your vids man, nice job using the cloth to texture. I have alot of the tools to do this, but still need a ring stretcher and rolling mill. Keep up the great work!
Great satisfying video! Wonderful work!
It's fasinating & a great deal of work. Great results
Fantastic way to use your scraps my friend. Wearing my Morgan and Canadian large cent spinner ring right now 😆 merry Christmas my friend
Scrap to jewel!
I so want to do this. Thanks for the video!
Makes me wish I had somewhere I could make jewelry. Took a jewelry class in high school. Wish I could do it again.
I used to work on a 6 ft bench in my laundry room for years. almost all of my earlier videos were shot there. Go for it!
WOW what an amazing video i didn't know that's how you put texture patterns on rings. I find so much old silver rings on beaches and in water I'm really considering to melt them all down to make new ones like you.
Nice and also those will look good on a spinner ring. Awesome video Skyler.
I was thinking that too!
Yep it'll look perfect. Love how you don't just stop at just making one thing there's always new ideas well my wife bought me a mini metal lathe and just can't wait to use a bit scared of the dam thing though lol anyway Merry Christmas to you and the family and have a safe New Year
Earings sell better with less material what i was told. But love the shine.
Solid video. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Very creative, beautiful looking rings, but that's what you do.
Awesome video!

Nice work. Weird because we just made pasta and this reminds me of that.

Gonna have a play with coins when I get a rotary tool and randomly came across your channel looking up techniques. Just wanted to commend your editing
Awesome My new friend. Have a very Merry Christmas.
That lace one😍😍😍😍👏
Well done
Quedaron muy lindas, excelente trabajo, un saludo.
New to your channel......love this
Very nice!
Well done,,,👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Thanks so much, man :D
I’m happy that you didn’t show any coins being melted down.
Why?
Daniel lee because I think it is against the law.
@@pierdolio its only copper Lincoln/wheat pennies and nickels that are against the law to melt for profit. The scrap he melted came from silver coins he turned into rings
Great job man, what do you use, to lube or something the casting die ? My casting mold is too cold, I have to heat it up more.
como siempre HERMOSO GRACIAS MAESTRO SUPER FELIZ DIA
Great video! I made a ring on a jewellery course out of a £2 strip of Silver. I was surprised how little the raw material was for a ring that would retail at least 10x the price even for a mass manufactured one were they probably have a machine churning out thousands, not a custom hand made piece...
Absolutely awesome👍🏿
Hey what are you doing up! lol
Change You Can Wear just getting home from work 🤣
I would love to have a rolling mill but I'm still saving up for a Durston ring stretcher.
Ooh dont buy one! Wait for a new vid to check out a better, cheaper option :)
Awesome
What did he spray on and in the mold at the beginning of the video. Im a beginner but Im learning fast 😁 i love jewelry smithing 💯
Pepe the frog make tools? Cool
Liked and subscribed!
Great video!
Very very nice 👌
Awesome 🇬🇧👍
Nice design new friend
Muy buen trabajo, una página donde comprar los martillos texturas
You might need to explain what exactly aneili is and how to process. Some do just know.
Everytime I come back to your channel you got some fancy new toy you're playing with. I need to step up my game, if only to get me the same quality of big boy toys.
What kind of silver solder do you use. I ordered some in a pack of easy, medium & hard. I am pretty sure I got screwed. It isn't solder. The silver started melting, and the "solder" hasn't changed other than some blackening that scraped off easily using my finger nail.
I need a local buddy who knows what he's doing to help me when I'm being ... less than genius.
It sounds like you might have oxidized your solder. It is best to heat it to melting quickly before it oxidizes. I used easy on these rings.
Again, what type of polishing compound are you using,
SKYLER, I THINK NATE FROM COINHUNTINGCOUPLE, FELLOW CZcamsR IS GOING TO SEND YOU A MORGAN FOR YOU TO MAKE HIM A RING. PLEASE RECORD THAT VIDEO AS IT'S A OLD COIN AND I THINK HE WOULD LIKE TO POST IT ON HIS CHANNELS. JUST A THOUGHT, AND THANKS. GOOD JOB ON THE SCRAP SILVER RINGS THEY CAME OUT NICE.
Today my mother gave me a collection of rare silver coins as well as some other collections of coins and it made me think of this channel so I came back here
save thme man your mother treasured those coins as any coin collectors would if you want a ring please use the ones that you have doubled or even better tripled
martin11844 I don’t plan on making rings out of them or selling them, this collection of coins has probably inspired me to start a new hobby of collecting and treasuring more coins.
@@LeMoisturizer awesome lets trade some in the future
martin11844 idk about that these are family heirlooms
Creative
08:35 wow
Just the right amount of editing and nice music to boot! Is that Ludovico Einaudi on the piano?
I'm not sure. I found everything on epidemic sound.
Freaking gorgeous! How many coin rings did it take to have that much scrap?
Are there affordable ways to do this? Aka, without the roller?
Very Very Very beautiful
Eres un gran artista, me gustan mucho tus vídeos por que siempre aprendo algo nuevo ¡
Gracias!
Wow Nice
Nice
I’m real new to this but whywouldn’t you flip ends for ends as you turn it 90 degrees?
If you wanted if uniform?
I thought it was a 3rd world gutter ring maker video but its all made in the good old USA!
Which liquid use for black polish plesae ask me
Спасибо яб не додумался до такого. Круто.
Great video. May I ask what that blue thing was that was used to soften the inside edge of the rings? Thank you and happy new year to you!
Sure it is called a deburring tool. I buy mine on Ebay.
What is the tool you are using on the inside of the shank at 14:10 ?
Coooooool🤩
Awesome tutorial, you’re very inspiring, thank you so much for making it!!! 🤗❤️ I wanted to ask you, what’s that thing you spray on your ingot molds before putting the hot metal in them? 🤔 Thank you in advance 🤗
It is a non stick ingot spray.
Change You Can Wear Thank you 😊
I wonder if you could use scrap Aluminum ?
