i need help.. i accidentaly delete header on my page.. now there is no menu , about , home any button on top of my page.. but if i go to top left page option in site menu there is all page are saved.. so how should i get back my header please help
There is a way you get your head or back like your menu or something you can’t get it back it’s just what he save changes he cannot get it back that way you have to go in and into your something in your wicks editor

Amazing video! I started right off with a paid upgrade, tried editing and got frustrated because I had NO clue what I was doing. I wish I had thought to look up this video first. Now I can go back and start again. I picked the tea company design to start as it is very close to what I need. I deleted the widgets for the items accidentally, hopefully I can get them back, I loved the way they had two pictures ( bag and loose tea ). Your video is a life saver!!! Thank you!!!
This tutorial was EXCELLENT! Thanks so much, Mike, for putting it together. I doubt I could have set up my website so quickly without this video. I paused it often as I completed each task live, and by the end of the video I had a fully functional website, professional email address, and even added a business phone line through WIX that forwards to my cell phone (figured the phone out on my own). My business has officially launched. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get started. As a tip for beginners - don't get bogged down in making your website perfect the first time. Get it all up and running, and you can always make it perfect later.

I had a Wix website built for me pandemic by a designer and it became no longer relevant during and post-pandemic.
Cutting a long story short, I could no longer afford to keep the website and my conscious bias of digital competence convinced me I could not build one.
This was reaffirmed by every attempt I made previously to create a website (through different platforms and WIX) I quickly stalled, lost confidence and stopped.
I've come back to WIX and wanted to seek help without a major financial outlay. I would say it's been a successful endeavour as your video has helped me tons and has taken away many of my biases.

OMG THIS TUTORIAL WAS AMAZING! Thank you so much for making this. It was super informative without being long and drawn out. I learnt more from this video than I did from a paid course! I wish I would have found this first. I watched all the ads too (which I normally skip) because I was loving the content. I'm definitely subscribing and I'm going to see what other videos you have too. Seriously, I can't thank you enough. This was EXACTLY what I needed.

@@lilpharmacuzbossonvacation6106 My comment was sincere. I bought a WIX course from Coursera for like $18 and it sucked. Didn't really help me learn anything more than I already knew. His tutorial was exactly what I needed being still pretty new to WIX. I've watched a few of his other videos that were pretty good too but this one was so helpful in me getting my blog setup.

For beginners like me who don't immediately understand the terminology used by those of you who are proficient in this field, its difficult to grab the concept unless we know the specificity of a word. For example, I'm not a veterinarian so I wouldn't understand all the medical terms they use. The same holds true here. So, I'm constantly stopping and starting (and sometimes backing up) the video to recognize what you mean. Regardless, I truly appreciate your thoroughness and knowledge of WIX. "Build your own website", they said. "It'll be fun!" lol I am enjoying it but it'll probably be more 'fun' when I have it published. lol

@@jodiescott01 Hey, sorry I can't be much help. I'm not sure how to do it.
@@basmaaltwejri8871 Thank you :) You go to Edit site from your dashboard in the bottom left corner. Then when in ADI mode you go to 'Site' from the tool bar and at the bottom you will see 'switch to editor'. You have to do this then make changes and save them in editor mode. Then only when you make changes and do a save will you be transferred over to it.

I really appreciated this tutorial. I wish I had looked at this before I started! It really helped. I wonder if it might be worthwhile doing an even more basic one for 'non millennials'. Some elements were too much of a sidetrack from the main part of getting a basic web site in place and learning about the essential editing tools. But, really fantastic and thank you so much Mike.

Hi, thank you for this video. It is very helpful. Could you please create a video on how to add a filter on dynamic pages, so that people can search for what they want using key words ? So that at the beginning visitors can see the whole content collection , but then can narrow down to results related to their search. For example, I have a list of 100 essential oils. But visitors want to find only calming oils or only energizing oils.

Useful tutorial - thank you. However, you often move your mouse unnecessarily and found that quite confusing, as your eye naturally follows the mouse movements.

Thank you for this tutorial. It was really helpful. I would like to add a bit of feedback regarding WIX's customer service. I have awaited a reply for weeks now, to no avail. I am unable to "edit" our site which has been an inconvenience for us. I build the site on my own and admit I do not know everything there is to know about site maintenance and cybersecurity. How can I reach a physical human to walk me through this situation?
