I've had some killer games with ACOG snipers so far. Glad to see that other people recognize its potential.
I used ACOG back in BACK IN BLACK OPS 1 on my sniper when i was learning the game and learning to snipe, really helps get the perks up for your weapon especially when new to the game.
I think QuickDraw and Focus are necessary.
I would definitely run focus on this class, the sway on this gun with acog is crazy
I used this set up yesterday and KILLED it, I love it! I did swap off the grid for the no sway perk though.

Reminds me of my Barrett set up on MW2. ACOG on the Bazz was a beast. Used to get chopper gunners on Estate like nobody's business!

Great minds think alike! I use a marksman setup with an ACOG (SVU) for many of my first games of the day, for much the same reasons you advocate the sniper setup for. Along with the warmup factor, it's just fun to hear a spray and pray player complain about shooting you first, when you can take them out at range while their bullets are hitting 20 points (if they even hit). I love hearing " no F*&king way" screamed into a mic.
Ahh this is a great class! Tried it for the first time and went 0 kills 4 deaths, I bucked up my style and ended on 17-5. Nice one trev!

ACOG does not show the sway in the same way that many of the others scopes do. It is really minor.

Get the blue dot reticle on that acog sight & use focus to lower the high amount of sway on the scope to turn it into an even more beastly setup!

To counter the sway just use focus and the problem is solved. Besides, focus is probably one of the better perks since it also reduces flinch -> bigger chance to land your shot while getting hit

i use quickdraw and thermal with the lynx. very effective for quickscoping
I've been using that set up since MW2
The L115 w/ the ACOG is pretty good too. Scored a 40+ game with it. But for me my preferred is Bolt action.
It actually works! It's a very good weapon but you should use focus on it
you should use focus because of the reduced sway. the snipers have a lot of sway with acog so reducing it will make it easier to control

if you use focus you have less gun sway to be more accurate at ranges
I was suprised about this setup. To be honest I thought it was gonna suck cause ACOG decreases the accuracy majorly. I tried it for 3 games and every game I got 20+ kills with 5 deaths being the highest. Thanks a lot TmarTn! It really helped. :)
Curly Corey accuracy only affects hip fire and sway, and range is the damage falloff but all of the sniper rifles have infinite range.

Tmartn use extended mags with acog the chrome lined increases the sway and I would also recomend focus cuz it will make even less sway with the weapon
Tmartn you should do a video talking about how you started CZcams and some good strategies for a gaming channel or something cause I wanna get into CZcams and create a gaming channel, but I don't really know where to start and I'm sure there's plenty of others like me too
Hitmarkers are scary when your using a sniper XD

If you put on focus, it'll reduce the idol sway
might give it a try i tend to find the best games and do the best in the morning though so im not too sure if this will help me that much

You should you focus to reduce weapon sway when aiming down sight and reduce recoil
The lynx is a good sniper, massive scope lenses though sadly with the normal attachment. Can still get hitmarkers on normal health people
SVU w/ iron sights & burst fire. Stalker is a must but anything else is your choice. It's a deadly class since the gun is always a 2 hit kill. If you're on target they're dead.
Trevor, you'll have to start your own sniping clan after this. :D
Instead of ping and off the grid I would use quickdraw and resilience so I can ADS quicker and won't rage from the start by accidentally falling off of a building :/
Good idea. I mostly play HC game modes, where Ping is basically worthless.
I would put QuickDraw and focus and ready up with the speed perks

I tired this set up and it was sort of a hit/miss thing, WAY too much sway for me. However later on when I took my Honey Badger I went crazzzyy. So it's a good warm up class, Tmartn is right, itll make you focus.
use focus because it reduces idle sway
Tmart I love your videos I always have and I loved this one too me and my friend Alex are gonna start a channel. U inspired us I was hoping maybe u could make a video about how u started up your channel like some CZcams advice.
-tell where you can shoot them, so more keep coming. Last 2 slots are optional for what you want, like for montages use perks like ping or lightweight, or for camping use extra tac or ied+gambler. I find the L11 sniper is very good for defensive or even stonehenge on the tallets rock you can cover the entire upper area. The USR is probably better for quickscoping also. :)

the lynx is pretty much the AS50 from mw3 and both the Lynx And the AS50 are two of my favourite snipers
When you use an acog on a sniper in bo2 if you hold L3 it wont sway (no problem for the tip)
Looks like a fun class but the magnum would make you be more careful with your shots
Snipers are almost always best with focus, quickdraw and ready up.(7 points so far) You never want to take too long to shoot, and since both chrome barrel AND acog inc idle sway focus is highly needed. If you want to be able to move around w/out paying a ton of points use a pistol(8). If you want to control an area but get more gun kills for camos/challenges use motion sensor.(9) I find the no-skull perk(10) is best for chain kills, because if they cant see where som1 died to a sniper they cant-
