- 'Building Osaka' is a series that is reminiscent of my original 'Building Tokyo' series I did for SimCity (2013). In this series, I attempt to faithfully recreate Osaka down to the fine details. However, in certain situations, I may need to get creative as Cities: Skylines' game mechanics or lack of assets may make it difficult to achieve certain infrastructure.

Yuttho I really like your channel but I really want to thank you. I feel the world is far from what you vision it to be. I find it hard to forgive after what Japan did to my Grandparents (Singapore) during WW2 But I do like Japan because of this and my trips to Kyoto and Osaka.
I feel like Nationalism is on the rise and its quite obvious Japan has ambitions again this time with USA. I just hope I will be on Japans side when inevitable war occurs. Thank you for your great videos.

Since I watched your former series I have had knack for Japan itself. I been watching Only in Japan which gave me insight on the culture, subcultures, and many other interesting facts about Japan itself. Now I feel that I am somewhat connected to this series as I know is what is what.

Not sure if you already know but there is a mod that changes the traffic lights to Japanese style ones. It's called Japanese Traffic Lights (LHT) 日本風信号機MOD (左側通行用) should come up if you search the workshop.

細かいこと言えば、環状線と神戸線がクロスしてたり、四ツ橋線が一通じゃなかったり細かいところが気になりますが、そんな細かいところに気が向くくらい再現度が高い！

From the moment I loved your videos and how you exposed what you did in them!
As a lover of Japan, then, I loved your "Building Tokyo" series of madness and, honestly, I would like, perhaps, in the near future, to see transposition or expansion on Cities Skylines!
At this moment, I will just follow this new project of the "Building" series, hoping that it will be expanded and, perhaps, in the future, will also include other Japanese cities such as Kyoto, Sapporo or Nagasaki!
In the future, even if I do not comment, I will continue to follow your videos and admire your passion and your way of exposing them!

I went to a vietmanese Buddhist festival a week ago and it reminded me of your video where you talked about the one you went to. I thought you might be interested to know that it was actually quite different from what you described. it was almost entirely members of the temple and the food stand seemed more like a convenience than a business (like a fundraiser basically).
anyway, keep up the good work with your series. I love the intellectual side of it and learning about different cultures.

nice production value as usual. osaka seems like a good city to be in. i'd be interested to hear more of your observations of daily life and the people etc (as compared to other places you've lived) while you lived there while you continue the series. also, maybe do a rural older japanese village next?

Time to play Cities Skylines again.
This level of detail in tiny areas of a massive city seems like such a waste of time when someone of your talents could be doing things like this in the real world lol.
I guess it's a bit different in the sense that it is mimicking an existing city, but still... It is pretty impressive. I've always been impressed by the level of detail people can do in things like this, or the sims... but so rarely do they put these talents to use.
I know this kinda sounded backhanded, but I meant to say that I think this is awesome and impressive... I just wish more people with these abilities would pursue architecture or city planning in the real world... because... I've seen some things in my lifetime, and these fields could use some real talent.
