    Great job. I've always loved modeling. Never did tanks, only aircraft. But you have a passion. Keep up the great work. Watching this makes me want to build one. But if I was to build one I think I would ad the real life resin females

    Very cool, I like your style. I've never made a tank and this will help a lot. I'm guessing the Tamiya T-72 is a lot like this one.

    Muy buen modelo! Le venia escapando porque estaba muy barato y lo barato me hace desconfiar (ya aprendi con zvezda) pero al parecer era porque la maqueta es de una matriz vieja, pero mas alla de un ocasional hipo, el mes que viene la encargo!.

  • @knucklesandwichdude133

    I Bought this Kit on black Friday last year. Built it February this year. While cleaning my basement from a party I tossed this shit in a bag. My tired ass notice it 6 seconds later and the barrel and Sprocket snapped. I’m still mad.

    На упаковке неправильно написано ,что это Т-62А. На упаковке танк Т-62. Т-62А был экспериментальный и пушка была другая ( эжекторы на стволе), как например у танка Т-10М. Сам я служил на Т-64А в Украине.1975-1977гг. Привет из Georgia!

    Hi, this is going to be my first Tamiya model that I'm going to build. In fact this is the first model kit that I've ever bought in my life. I have no experience in building model kits and no adequate tools too. Is this going to be an easy task?

    • @xizhiyu
      @xizhiyu Před 3 lety +1

      A cutter and a bottle of cement are all you need if you don’t do painting. Tamiya model is usually simple and beginner friendly comparing to other brand with full interior set.

    I just bought a Soviet T-55 tank model kit the other day. But seeing this video I was wondering what's the difference between a T-55 and T-62 tank?

    • @philipped.r.6385
      @philipped.r.6385 Před 2 lety +1

      I'm a bit late, but here is the difference. Basically, the T-62 shares a lot of mechanical components (like having the same engine by example) and general features, but the T-62 has a somewhat longer hull and has side bulges to accomodate the larger turret. A larger turret was needed to install the very powerful and innovative 2A20 115mm smoothbore gun which is the biggest difference between the T-62 and T-55. The gun stabilization was also more advanced. The turret face had more armor and so were the sides, but some less critical areas had thinner armor to save weight. It was adopted into service as a stopgap measure until a more advanced tank could be developed (which would become the T-64). Indeed, an iranian M60 crew had defected earlier to the Soviet Union and after extensive tests, it was found that the T-55 gun couldn't pierce its armor at normal combat range while the M60's 105mm L7 gun could pierce its counterpart. So, a new tank armed with powerful gun was needed immediately. The T-62 being very similar mechanically could be quickly put into mass production and was hence selected. That's about it.

    This kit is criticized for not being accurate like the front part of the turret but for the cost you can add after market parts & modify the kit without spending a fortune, the Trumpeter kits are great but cost 3x as much.

    • @SergioSolo
      @SergioSolo  Před 7 lety +1

      +Making Monsters Capillarity is a very cool property of that glue, so the connection is still pretty strong, and after it's dry you can sand any imperfections. Of course everyone has its own preferred method ;)
