I have a Renault Kiger RXZ Turbo CVT version of the car. It feels complete. We chose this car on the basis of our requirements. The car feels pretty fast on highways with the turbo mode, it doesn't feel laggy. I took the 2022 version of the car in comparison to the 2021 version because it had one game-changing feature and that was cruise control. The CVT here doesn't have a rubber band effect sound unlike other CVTs. We purchased this on dusshera 2022 and it got delivered in diwali 2022(within 3 weeks of order). We've put a lot of accessories like boot-lamps, side claddings, roof-carrier to hold luggage, rear bumper, trunk organiser, puddle lamps and even leather seats. The seating cushion is purely luxurious to be honest. It feels like I'm sitting in a luxury car indeed. It gives like around 12-13 kmpl in the city of Bangalore in normal mode and in highways around 20kmpl in highways in normal mode itself. The eco mode feels pretty laggy indeed and the response is muted you need to press the accelerator to get a good response in eco mode. Sport mode on the other hand feels so responsive it feels more of a sports car. The suspension is great and comfortable for my grandparents indeed. Indeed there were some shortcomings to the car and that was some lightings such as RGB stripping on the dashboard that might make the design prevelant during night drives else its ok. The aftersales experience was great. Like they responded pretty well to our problems and enquires and our experience with the timely service was great. Not regretted buying this car for even one bit. I was planning for buying duster but that got out of our hand at the time for purchase. Plus we were looking for Tata Punch as well as Mahindra XUV at the time of purchase before we brought kiger in place. Checking for service location, service history and checking your requirements are of utmost importance before buying any car indeed. There was a glitch that it was showing 30kmpl mileage when we're doing some long trips. So buy this car if you are looking for a car with the most value and are not concerned about mileage at all. My recommended model would be Kiger RXZ CVT Turbo/Manual Model. Most valueable could ve RXT Turbo model Manual. Just don't buy the AMT version of the gearbox. The same CVT Turbo could be a killer for triber as well and could also make triber a pretty desireable car with all it's shortcomings gone. This Kiger is a no nonsense car as well. No sunroof, No additional stuff needed, just buy a 3 pin plug charger as well and you could boot your laptop as well and if there was one thing I would remove, it's the wireless charger indeed for a 300W fast charging 3 pin plug for powering my laptop and charging my phone through the plug indeed.

All car brands should make Driver Seat Height Adjustment a Standard Feature now. Bcz har lamba aadmi Kam paise wala nai hota na har Kam height ka admi jyada paise wala hota hai. Rear view Camera bhi standard hona chahiye. Aur Aaj k date pe jis hisab se garmi badh gayi hai to rear AC Vents bhi must hone chahiye. Central locking, Electronic adjustable ORVMs, All 4 power windows. Iss maamle me Grand Vitara bilkul fit aati hai. But Wo 4 meter se lambi gadi hai. Agar fronx ya Baleno ye grand vitara jaise base model Baleno aur fronx me karde then see the boost in sales of sigma variant. Suzuki should also consider launching a sub 4 meter 7 seater to compete triver with 4 cyl engine n improved mileage.
Baki base model me display speaker waigra aadmi apni choice ka lagwae.

I have Triber.Power drop is obvious. When you put on the AC then you are adding additional load to the engine. But the drop is not significant. So far the engine is concern, in between speed range (25 - 95) .. very responsive. Comfortable till 120 . After that the engine takes time to increase the speed. I have gone through 140 but not comfortable at that speed. Very very comfortable till 95. Better than Eartiga.
      Note : with AC.
Eartiga is good in acceleration. No doubt on that but comfort wise Triber is far ahead.

Very good for long distance highway driving with the same engine and ac working I have driven the vehicle non stop for 15hrs continuously and had no issues at all. Spares are not available in the open market. Body and components are like cardboard and get dented easily. Head light coverage is very low. I bought is for its safety features and no other manufacturer provides these at their price. They could work on a CNG model to boot their sales. Petrol engine average is around 14 Km/liter.

Just how can an MPV and AT have only 137nm torque and that too at 4400rpm where nobody is going to drive? It has top passive safety features and best reliability, but power is also required, especially in a people mover.

However, want to add a point that: Customers are not only looking for the quality, after sales support and technical aspects like turbo engine etc. but also they mainly focus on 'Peace of mind / Trust' while they drive at any given moment which is what is lagging in most of the other brands. I meant, I had never seen a Maruti car broke-down suddenly somewhere (Rare case) but have seen other brands & expensive cars. Just like another user comment in this thread saying that he owns Renault Lodgy but no peace of mind...

Though their features were not even upto any match as in case of their kwid car with navigation system in that budget

I think Renault Kiger Turbo CVT and Nissan Magnite Turbo CVT are the most value for money good automatic car in this price segment with good rear spacious seats and boot space. Underrated cars too. But I feel the suspension and interiors are slightly better on Renault Kiger. Both these cars are value for money especially for the automatic transmission, good steering feedback and suspension. I am not a paid promoter. Posting this comment based on my recent test drive of Venue Automatic, Venue N Line Automatic, i20 CVT, i20 N line Automatic, Sonet Automatic, XUV 3XO Petrol AT, Breeza Automatic.
Venue, Venue N Line, Sonet Automatic (Petrol) all come with only DCT Automatic gearbox which lacks refinement and the maintenance is high. DCT isn't suitable for city traffic travel. i20 CVT rubber band effect is evident compared to Kiger and Magnite CVT. CVT of Kiger and Magnite are much better than i20. i20 also lacks ground clearance, rear seat
space and boot space. Venue and Sonet lacks rear seat space. Xuv3xo has small boot space. The automatic of Breeza onroad comes to more than 15L even for the mid variant. So all these makes the Kiger and Magnite Turbo CVT to have a good CVT automatic transmission with good rear seat and boot space. The noise levels of the cabin have slightly improved in the 2024 variants.

Triber is a nice car, but interior looks cheapish, lots of cost cutting by Renault. It is built to a cost and Renault cannot plonk in a turbo engine n keep costs down. In case they increase cost, with this kind of interior, customers have better options in "essuuvvee" market.

No such issues with kiger, was giving much faster shifts than the fronx. Ac was good, no noises from brakes or anything. Yes, at higher revs there's too much engine noise in the cabin but it sounds good. Was revving it to 6k rpm, the average showing was 5 kmpl. (Expected with such aggressive driving). Probably would give u about 11 or 12 kmpl if driven with a light foot.

I think Renault should make these 3 changes... (1) Turbo engine option is there, but both Triber and Kiger should be upgraded with 1.2 or 1.5 ltr NA engine. (2) 360 degree camera (3) Sunroof should be given in any 2 variant. The price will increase but the sale will also increase.😊

I am a Renault kwid owner since last 5 years. I have driven this car 89000.. and I have other cars as well etios and G Vitara. .. trust me... Renault kwid is awesome budget car. I have driven it in highways, rural roads and mainly city. No problem as such anywhere. Although Many people criticise it for plastic chamber, light material; but these all are justified in terms of its pricing and usage. At present it's a perfect car for city usage.

Thats why I booked and cancelled Kiger RXT optional amt, later i opted for i20 Sportz ivt. Why i choosen i20 over Kiger is only because of engine lack of poor amt performance which i took test drive and my friends car. Apart from Kiger is well featured car one step ahead from its competitors.

I agree 1.0 NA is good or OK for a KWID (Compact Hatch) but the buyers will not except the same Kwid 1.0 Engine on 7 Seater & fiercely compitative Segment of Sub 4 Mt KIGER.
It's Shame on part of French Co. Renault to have offered same 1.0 noisy & vibrating engine in 2024.
Apart from feature list it offers TAXI quality interiors which is slightly better than that offered on Datsun ReadyGo.
You are right their After-Sales Services is pathetic & their Spares are of poor Quality & not lasting alongwith poor Ser. Network.
Should have offered atleast 1.2 NA & Turbo on KIGER. Turbo on Triber for 7 Seater.

Triber is a great family 7 seater car! ❤ Power issue is for those who would like to vroom over 100 km but for normal speed within 100km on an highway, there is no problem.Happily driven 30K 2yrs without any issue. Also, remember that car driver would only know which way he needs to drive to get the best out of it, mileage or power to underrate any car for that matter.Had no issue after sales, Renault service is good!

2:32 no sirji you are wrong here. Engine is 1L in all three but kwid has lower torque and bhp than triber/kiger. Its not the same power figures in all three cars

  • @Amit_Kumar_Trivedi
    @Amit_Kumar_Trivedi Před 21 dnem

The triber needs to get 1.0 liter turbo even if that means 1 lakh price increae. Kiger should offer the turbo option on all models. Third they need to improve the quality of plastics and make product more aspirational. Fourth, they are not bringing 1200 cc engine. They can outsource from Citroen if possible. The Kwid engine is older and different from other 1 liter, that needs to change.

Iam owning triber Since 5yrs its best car At that price point
    Iam Happy with the car
But as u said they failed to launch face lift as they are already having turbo engine in kiger why wont introduce in triber ..
People are waiting iam also waiting if they launch turbo in triber i will exchange my old triber with that
Because space management ,steering feed back and suspension and ac are the best
If any body drivers renault cars they will not drive maruthi cars for sure because of steering feed back ,suspension
And recently i bought kwid climber amt for my wife its also good car my wife happy but
They have to introduce Amt like kiger
And delaying launch of Duster 😊😊😊😊

  • @ranjith.c.p747
    @ranjith.c.p747 Před 19 dny

Renault and Nissan are obviously a very good car makers, but they are not studying the Indian market very closely. If we look at maruti cars they dont have much power but they are 4 cylinders and all the cars have Automatic versions, CNG versions and none of them are less power than Renaults or Nissans Car. They have a huge line up of cars but Renault is getting confused to even launch upgraded version of Duster even today which was a very big hit in the indian market. They should focus more on CNG cars so that their sales will gradually increase for sure.
