- @Surfline proper depiction of what hit Durban.
This is one of my favourite edits! Thanks @darren_simes_photo for the epic beach angle.
Massive ups and downs, struggles and rewards, three hour plus session for 2 good waves. But it was worth it in the end, could have used some electrolyte and creatine and kept surfing, but was so fatigued, couldn't keep up with the session.
For informative purposes. Every edit is made in chronological order so as to keep the realism of the experience. I appreciate every view! Thank you for the support.

Such awesome waves and riding Scott! That was another amazing edit! Thanks for sharing the stoke with us!
appreciate the view and comment Shane! thanks
massive barrels so sick. gotta comment for the algorithm 🤙🤙🤙
thanks, it really does help.
Nice one Scott, each one gets better and better
cheers Mike, Though when Darren Leaves we not going to have this amazing quality, so we should all appreciate him while he is still around and keep Dutcho amped as well! And thanks for not mowing me down on that clean up.
Epic man! Sick jol with the Rock chargers. Chats at backline must be for memories to come sometimes.
shot so much gets deleted, and a lot of the good interactions I am not prepared for, will keep improving.
Jeez bru, I admire your ability to turn getting hammered into a positive mindset. The wave at 14:30 ish was absolutely radical, so close to making it. Really love the vids man, keep it up 🤙
cheers! really appreciate the support. Have a few more in the pipeline, keen to keep going.
That was an insane barrel at the end there!
Kinda bummed I didn't pump harder and make it, same for the first one, but ya, have to be careful. First swell of the season. Thanks for the comment legend!
😎😎😎
Yeww, sick! 🤙
legend!
wow, some great waves man!
3 hr session and multiple paddles for 2 proper ones stoked., thanks for commenting. legend
Epic scotty! Loving the content keep it up! I thought you were coming out of that last one!!
appreciate the views and the comment thanks! also thought I was gana make it, then it just cornered and picked up pace, had to do the safety eject, that section is dangerous.
Love your vids keep it up
shot! appreciate your long standing engagement! legend
Craaazy edit! Well done 👏🏻💙
Damn man looks heavy. Sick vid tho
it def had some power! shot for the comment!
Awesome video Scott!
Great footage.
epic!
😅❤
Don’t bail right as the whitewater hits you, dive under a second or two earlier you won’t get pumped as much!!! Same goes for duck diving
I agree with your point 😉😉
I would get pushed deeper down, and get smashed heavier. This def works for me. Use the impact to pop you up. But what do I know haha. Thanks for the comment legend!
@@bm7586 I use the wave to push me out of the reverse current, the same kind that almost drowned Ben Gravy in Hawaii. Subbing earlier would pop me back up before the wave is over me, Method to madness. Thanks for the comments guy's appreciate the engagement.
Pleasure and great content, we really love it. Mo from Morocco
damn that was so cool🤩i want to start surfing but i live in New England and idk any good beaches around… any advice before I start? also i just got a sub, keep up bro
Thanks for the sub! head to your local store, purchase an over sized soft top and a suit! ask for the nearest beginner beach, make some friends at your level, and take it from there. Yeuw! Keep your head off the bank, give other's priority and stay within your comfort zone, even if that means ankle snappers in the foam.

Calculated risks, wish I had more board! thanks for the comment!!!
@@scottyknowsurf yeah, you look totally undergunned but you make it work somehow! How dangerous is that spot? It looks hectic!
@@johannesdenecke2422 def felt undergunned, its extremely hazardous, and has taken lives. I try to be extremely careful, and pull back on a lot of waves. the bottom is cruel.
