    Omg, I used to buy this anytime I go to the market to buy foodstuff back home, we called it Akara jiapu, I don't joke with it at all, very crunchy and yummy. I prefer the first method with palm oil, cos that was the one we usually eat with coconut at that time. Thanks for sharing, sis.

    We call this "bankye kaaklo" in Ghana. We eat it with coconut too. A very popular Ghanaian street snack and it's so yummy. We grate the cassava,squeeze out the juice,add salt,onions and fry. We don't add pepper to ours and we don't leave ours overnight. We fry ours with vegetable oil.Guys trust me it's super crunchy and delicious. I love it so much. Welldone sis 👏👍

    I remember my mother wiill always put a heavy stone on top of it to drain the water.
    The fresh pepper on the second method brought a great look. .I will go for the peanut oil frying method.

    I was searching for how to make this akara jiapu bcos it was my best snacks growing up and i guess you're the only channel who made such a video. I'm really interested to try it out, but why is the second method not crunchy? that's the method I want to try bcos i can't afford to use such amt of red oil abroad for it (very expensive)

    Waw!! looking so superb😮but then i think i will prefer the one fried in mai ja/palm-oil oo, though all are called akara but different method though and i just voice out my choice some might still go ahead to say they prefer the akara mai-gaida/mai-gida,oya come out and talk your mosque mind o,which do you prefer.
