- The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not.
I am responsible for the song choices, what I choose to request so if want to complain about that then that's fair game but if want to complain about Ashtyn or Jon's reaction just remember this is not their channel and by proxy it is very unlikely they will read your comments unless I personally pass the message on next time I speak to them...however I have zero interest in passing on any vindictive, rude or spiteful comments.
They do these for me and I just post many of them here in case other people might also be curious about what they think of these songs too after they send me the videos and I have watched them myself. Boney M's most famous song ideally you need to listen to the historical story in the lyrics and how clever these old songs are, although it had a recurring chorus each chorus was different following the story of the despicable conman that was poisoned stabbed shot and drowned because he just wouldn't die.
This song is based on a man named Rasputin. It's a pretty good story actually

yea, He was a friend of the family of Russian Emperor Nicholas II. In the 1910s, in certain circles of St. Petersburg society, he had the reputation of a “royal friend,” “old man,” a seer, and a healer. The negative image of Rasputin was used in revolutionary, later in Soviet propaganda.
He was shot in the forehead by British intelligence agent Oswald Reiner.
The music was written and sung by a old white german named Frank Farian. He didn't want to perform on stage so he hired a good looking black man.

In 1979 Poland was a part of the east block. Some things were forbiden, including official comments or cirtics about Russians. For this reason this song was cutted. I can add also, that It was not live peformance but edited retransmission the day after.

A song about an early 20th century controversial Russian monk, assassinated in secret by the British forces for trying to influence Russia to pull out of WW1, performed by a black group from Germany. We're so multi-cultural. Love it. XD
Great playback. Great interpratation. In the actual days make playback its not a big deal . Almost all group now make playback. But not inthe 70s.

I like that suggestion, I forgot all about KT Tunstall, I will add her to future requested artists.
I don't know which batch or when exactly will make my next batch for Ashtyn and Jon to do for me because I just put in a large batch of requests just few days ago which they are still in process of making for me but she's on my radar now and I made a note of her.
I read every comment under these videos on my channel so it's never a bad idea to make suggestions, if I like the suggestion they may get added to future requests though not every single suggestion people make = added to future batch but now and again some will.
Some good news for you and an update on my previous comment about not knowing when will have them react to it, that song mentioned was added to the current request batch they are doing for me so it's something you can look forward to seeing their reactions on soon. :)
