Everyone who said David could only do roast jokes are either eating a KFC bucket full of crow after watching this or are still in denial. I don’t use buzz words often like woke etc. but this shit was 100% BASED. Utterly offensive on every level, as this kind of comedy could be. A very solid debut special. David “George” Lucas, cuz the force was strong w this one.

We need to get away from the idea that if someone doesn't like a joke, it's because that person was offended. Either the joke was too liberal or too conservative, which offends the listener and therefore they think it's a bad joke. Most of the time, bad jokes are bad because they're unoriginal, they're delivered poorly, or they're not clever.

As a comedy fan this performance made me absolutely TERRIFIED cause If this is how we are starting the year off, knowing David and all the comics that are in that family of the greats I can not wait to see what’s coming next. You and the rest of the comedy family are the last remaining artists that can save societies sanity after what we have ALL gone through the last half decade or so.
