Please weigh an older plain white rollomatic then pick up a light 04 then weigh a es light. The difference becomes much more apparent when you weigh the 25 and 32 inch bars. I just picked up a std rollomatic then a light 04 yesterday and I was surprised how much heavier the std rollomatic was to the light 04. I sold my std rollomatic off and only own light 04 and es light bars
hi are the Japanese Sugihara bars Sugihara 20" Chainsaw Guide Bar Light Type - 3/8" Pitch (.050" Gauge), Stihl Large Mount 801-ST2U-0Q50HV any good? go $110.00 usd. ?
Rollomatic es light are very good bars but light 04 stihl has problems with oiling. Oiling these stihl light 04 are not good enough and chain can extend faster.
Now I will replace my light 04 stihl bar on my ms 261 to sugihara with exchangable noze but not light version (dont like to much flexible bars). In future i will share my first impression using sugihara bar. I heard that great light bar version are cannon duralight.
@pmHondaSzybszaNizWyglada I have a TsuMura light bar on my 550xp and love it. I have a Oregon speed cut with aluminum core on my 545. Also good bar that is cheap. Let me know bout the Sugihara I have no experience with then.
I saw a video of a fella who fixed the oiling issue by drilling the oil hole out in the light bar with a 9/64" drill bit. Gotta wonder why smaller hole in light bar vs standard bar?
I've never had one without the grease port fail. I've got some that are goin on 10 years old and still doin fine. I was brought up with saws that oiled alot and wasnt fond of the more modern stihls oiling, but after using them for quite a long time now I've not noticed any abnormal wear or damage. I flip my bars after every outing and dress them with a file periodically. I've never had a bar tip fail either. I'm not a logger, just a guy cuttin 5 cord of wood a year, but still has ample use on my saws.
Congrats on 1 year!
Very interesting! Appreciate the information.

Lol that's all I own now too. I kept the light 04 as a back up and run the es light on my saw
@@oakeymt.outdoors I do the same lol!!
Was the length, pitch and gauge of the bars ever revealed?
3/8 50 72dl 20"

Sugihara makes a good bar. The Husqvarna light bar is just a Sugihara rebranded. I do also like the Stihl light bars as well.

I have seen where people are putting a 462 oil pump in the 400c to get it to oil better. But with a 20" bar I think I will be ok. Thanks for watching

One difference is ones really cheap looking
great comment.
They lost their mind taking the grease hole away. Bearings need grease not oil.
Yeah really needs one with a grease hole on my 400c because it's alittle lacking on the oiling

Hands down worse comparison video I’ve ever seen in my life.
