Thanks again for your food for thought. I sympathize with your perspective. In addition, you may want to consider that the story of mankind is a spiral rather than a cycle. You may also want to consider that we already are Frankenstein's monster as demonstrated by Metal Gear Solid 2: our lives are being engineered with information control. That brings me to Black Mirror: what is disguised as science fiction is already real.
Interesting how AI themed anime like Nier Automata, Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass, Ergo Proxy and Plastic Memories don't have songs that say much about AI, probably because the AI in anime struggle with human emotions.

A spiral rather than a cycle... I was just thinking that humanity does seem to go in a cycle because in astrology the planets come back to the same signs over and over again. But to see mankind in a spiral seems to fit better. Makes me think of spiral dynamics.
HAHA sad we already are monsters... Hmmm... I guess it's more of a matter of degree rather than a final thing here or not. Could things possibly get any worse? Or if it's already worse, then it probably doesn't matter. Because I get the sense things are getting darker and darker. We started on a high C of a piano, but landed on a low C. Same note, same problems, but heavier. Or lighter, depending on how you look at it. Like 12 notes of a piano, there are only 12 unique zodiac signs, only 7 notes in an octave, and 7 traditional planets... I guess things have to repeat or go in cycles. Spiral up with new songs and themes.
Glad you made it to the end of the video! I may watch those animes you mentioned, even though they are not songs. That should get in me in the Pluto in Aquarius mood. Plastic memories sounds spooky.
