I found your channel when I watched Arthur's INTJ productivity video and youtube gave me your video as a recommendation, that was a cool video. I dont know much about astrology, and I don't believe in it, but I think it's totally fine to use it if it helps some people up to the point when it might start to harm other in a way or another. I have the same opinion about religions, funny thing is I'm an organist turned into a wannabe piano composer, and because of my organist past I have plenty of religious friends, and some of them have some weird@ss beliefs for sure :D but luckily most of their belief dont get between us and does practically no harm to our friendship.
Nowadays Im learning about this MBTI thing, and at the time I saw Arthur's INTJ productivity video I thought I was an INTJ, but now Im pretty sure that Im an ISFP, and so far as I learn more and more step by step about the different ways about how cognitive functions works and Socionics' dimensionality cognitive function complexity-/strength-/whatever level and such, these things help me to better identify people's MBTI/Socionics type which helps me (and them) to communicate better with eachother, although sometimes simply identifying somebody's MBTI type doesn't help to solve the issue, but at least it's easier to become aware of it and pinpoint to specific function preferences as partially the possible causes of the whatever-issue. (PS. I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm still learning this stuff and occasionally I ask people what their type is, and I would like to ask you are you an ISFP? How/when did you found out? Did you mistyped yourself at first too? Thank you, I wish you good luck with your channel and philosophical journeys, I found them interesting, have a great week :))

That's funny because I also found Arthur the same way when learning about the MBTI. I wonder if you watch any of his most recent videos. His videos now are so different and extreme to his older videos.
Yeah, it's good to maintain friendships over beliefs, not to let beliefs get in the way.
For me personally, I think the MBTI is a wonderful and fun language to divide people, but I don't think its credible and/or scientifically validated. It's very similar to astrology. It's fun to talk about, but you'll probably waste a lot of time typing people. If you're serious about typing people, I think you should learn about the Jungian cognitive functions. Each type has a dominant function, so if you can figure out the person's dominant function, it'll be easy to figure out their personality type.
From a philosophical perspective, I don't think people can truly be typed. People are constantly evolving and transforming, are unique individuals, so putting them in a box or category might turn your mind away from their true character or nature.
To be honest with you, I'm not entirely sure what my type is. I've always thought that I was an INTJ or INFP, but ISFP is fitting too, especially since I make art, which is typical for an ISFP. When I think about my dominant cognitive function, it's probably Ni or Fi, so the personality types best to fit me best would be INTJ, INFJ, INFP, ISFP.

@@Kasperanzaa Some missing gaps in your knowledge btw Astrology is not a belief or opinion it's truth and refined and proves omniscience but u can change it is just not easy to change especially for the 7 female signs of Earth water and Libra
