I'm happy to see that Trey is looking so good. His Achilles tear wasn't that long ago but he's already back to being one of the strongest. I bet he'll do 200kg+ at Max Axle in the final

If Evan can lock in that form and discipline and not get too excited, he can win it. Pure power and drive, always rooting for him in every competition.
Not going to beat hooper or Tom at this, but he could definitely be near the top.
This year is a great opportunity for him to eyeball a 3rd position on the podium
I feel like I've been saying and hearing that for 3 years now unfortunately.
Hooper posted a video of him standing barbell pressing 365lbs for a set of 10. Granted it’s not an axel bar, but to press 365 for 10….wild.
@@codyschnuriger6743 No doubt moose is still the man to beat. Thing about him is that he knows that he doesn’t have to be the best in every event. As long as you place in the top 3 in each event and kill it on the one event you’re best at, you can win. Most strongmen peak too early or don’t strategize.

Probably one of the hardest strongman events ever created. Conan's Wheel is just pure pain.
Never done Conans Wheel, but as a powerlifter one of my lower body accessories is Zercher Squats and god that arm position is mentally fatiguing. Great exercise tho!

Eddie doing a lot of other extra curricular activities than strongman stuff. Wish he did more of that. I come to Brian’s channel to not be disappointed with the strongman stuff despite being retired now.

The axle comp is gonna be fun as hell. They were blowing up the weight and 410 looked like a matchstick for Trey.

I love these group training vids. The way Brian is really trying help these dudes and having them all there at his facility is just awesome. I am gonna try my best to make it out to the Shaw Classic this year. It will be my first strongman and I can't wait to see everyone pushing and pulling all the weight in person.

a while back Eddie on his channel was apart of an international competition and Evan really carried the American team to win over the UK team . he really is good, even Eddie knew if Evans injury wasn't a factor he would be what lead America to win
I gotta be honest but when Brian retired I lost a lot of hope that we (USA) would take the strongest man in earth title again, at least for a while. With Brian helping and getting the guys together to help train them each and support them with his experience and gym I think anyone of these guys could step up and take 1-3 spots.

Being a strong man competitor and being able to sit under the learning tree of Brian Shaw would be amazing.
I am impressed at how much Strongman has mellowed Evan. He came from a sport where loud got paid. Now he is much like his fellow competitors strong, confident and friendly.

The US has a deep stable of guys in contention for podium placement at the moment, but they're all a bit behind Hooper and Tom. With the right set of events, maybe Trey could overcome them.

honestly they should all adapt the split jerk technique, it utilises more leg strength and conserves energy.
