Not sure what you meant when you said "return to their roots"... because NCT has always been known experiment a lot with sound and style. This sound and approach is more reminiscent of 2nd Gen SM style. You need to see more of their work before you make that assumption.

I'm surprised you expect the MV to be singing live or want them to look like they're singing live. Typical MV shoots are lip-synced cause you are more or less acting.

Good point. I'm guess I'm just going off of what people have told me in the comment section. It seemed like Sticker was a bit farther out there then normal, and this song is more like what they normally make. Still not sure though.

NCT franchise all 23 members (NCT127,NCT DREAM, WAY V) have most powerful vocals in its generation, that’s why it feels so weird to listen to them at the first time when suddenly there’s less usage of auto tunes in their songs. 4:31 ive seen some behind the scenes, not just nct but other groups as well. They actually film scenes like this while the music is playing 2x speed then they jusy edit it that is why it looks like he is barely opening his mouth. Not sure if that's the case here tho, but judging from the way his lips are moving, there's a possibility.
