- Star Wars Battelfront 2 looks and plays like a game that didn't release in 2017, the visuals are stunning on Kamino and the Supremacy game mode where you have to take down the enemy ship in the second phase is so good.
You must buy Star Wars Battlefront 2 it's my favourite game on Steam or console and this gameplay shows why it's one of the best games ever. If you already have it you have to play it now, you're missing out.

Honestly doesn't matter much whether you want to save it or not. Though on the ships they usually have quite tight corridors and smaller areas so sometimes like a jedi or an enforcer with a sonic imploader or rocket launcher can be good in those small areas to get multi kills.
Though they can also be very useful to capture points while in the ground phase.
The ground phase is almost always more important than the ship phases. Most teams who win the ground phase,, also win the second phase. The capital ships are much harder to defend then they are to attack. So I usually don’t wait. Of course there are different uses for each reinforcement units. I.E. I wouldn’t use the wookie warrior that much on ground phase maps, as they are more catered toward tight spaces. Also I really recommend finding your roll/ dash key. It is probably the most useful movement option available to any character in the game. Especially Jedi or Jet troopers

Only thing about that game mode. You could get up to the ship and fail to destroy the last objective. Then you are back down at kamino fighting to get back to the ship. If the enemy wins. They are on your ship and visa versa. Can be there for hours back and forth

@WillfromWork such a beautiful game. Oh as for the questions asked. Dual zoom is unlocked by hitting milestones with a weapon, and will come in a package after game. For the NT-242 I recommend Dual zoom and advanced cooling as a priority as this will help you "re-chamber" your next shot. Loving all your content Will

This mode feels like the spiritual successor to BF:2142's Titan mode. 2 phases, capture ground stations to destroy the enemy Titan's shields, board, then destroy the reactor.
I was going to say that - never played BF2 but did 2142 and Titan mode was one of the best modes I've ever played in any FPS, missed it since then.
This is making me want to buy BF2!
BF2 is very fun tho the community is sometimes toxic and it lags but that's every game@@sirshinra

@@JetstreamSamuel. Disagree as someone who has played 6 years now it extends to any mode from HvV to Hero showdown tho I admit larger scale modes like Galactic assault or Supremacy is more rare.
@@generalyoda8325 Well i did say most of it is in HvV not all of it and i do agree that it extends to other modes but as you said it is rarer in large scale modes so i started playing them more than HvV
For the ship phase, I would definitely recommend using the clone commando over the rocket trooper. With the commando you can dish out large amounts of splash damage with your anti-armor attachment, perfect for tightly packed hallways with lots of enemies.

This game had bad press because of the pay to win power card system, it took like 200 hours to unlock the best characters for free, it was well deserved criticism, hopefully they make a third one properly.

Yall just fell for the hate bait cause the game was never pay to win. Also, the best heroes skill wise were already unlocked, and it was the older characters like Vader and Luke you had to unlock, and it didn't take 200 hours lol

Starcards didn't make you much better, and you had to be level 50 to get purple cards from crates which most people didn't even know they had a rank that is hidden in the settings menu. Oh, and the last thing is they disabled microtransactions the day it launched because Disney forced them to after all of the backlash they were receiving online from everyone saying dumb crap like "you have to buy Vader for $20" lol it was hilarious. So I have to ask, did you even play at launch?
BF2 is insanely fun when you have a server full of people (sadly rare to find people on bf2 currently, but also does depend on what mode/ time you do so) the mod support for bf2 is still active to this day and really does make me happy to see. the only mode I know is unplayable is the heroes vs villains mode sadly is riddled with hackers due to EA I guess just not updating the anti-cheat? really disappointing as the mode is fun if you can find a server that is just a normal match.

01:12 you can unlock the dual scope (or whatever the specific name is) attachment for your weapon
You have to get a certain number of kills with the specific weapon you want attachments for though I think it's 25 for the first 50 for the second and 75 for the third but I'm not sure on those numbers

I'm glad I'm not the only one still playing. I recently purchased Battlefront II in the Spring of 2023. It is now January 2024 and I am addicted to this game to the point that I play it almost every day now to unlock weapons attachments and upgrade my heroes. Honestly, I also having difficulty using lightsaber heroes but I am slowly learning how to make it work.
Man you are kind of lucky you get to play your games this smooth. I have like a 1% chance to have a full player lobby in my Japan server just to play it smoothly. Going to other servers just to play with other players just frustrates me sometimes. Keep playing though. Have fun!
Edit: Quick tip btw. When reloading be sure you click as soon as the moving white bar is on a blue or yellow bar.
The long red bar that you see there is a cooldown but you can shorten it by clicking it at either of those 2 bars.
you definitely need to find out what key you rebound (or unbound) your "roll" key to. If a lightsaber character is ever attacking you you can roll to dodge the hit. Even if it looks like it's hitting you it'll actually negate it allowing you to get some shots off then repeat. Also rolling sideways in gun fights really throws peoples aim off. i also see you like your rocket troopers quite a lot when you roll with that class its actually a rocket dash instead which is cool

And you have star cards. Basically small perks or advantages that you get when you equip them. Highly recommend that you do that.
I found this game a couple of years after its release (when they had sadly already quit updating it) and was super impressed. It is really fun and as you mention the graphics are great. I really enjoyed the gameplay. Such a bummer that there wasn't more updates and content provided as it would have truly been awesome then - the only reason I quit playing was because I got bored of the same thing for so long.
I love SWBF2 i played sense the start and a game i always come back to.
12:09 when your in third person you can change which side your character is compared to your crosshair during combat, making fights were your character would normally block your view much easier
This is still one of the best shooters imo, but I'm biased as a star wars fan. Too bad you often end up in almost empty lobbies when playing on console, but when you do find a full lobby it's a lot of fun.

This is THE game that caused lootboxes to disappear from games.
It's a shame really, what happend to this game. It's like the best Battlefield, but it's Star Wars. Only EA got so greedy they made the $70 game literally pay2win.
To unlock upgrades, jedi, sith and other special characters you had to open lootboxes. You could buy these with real money or grind thousands of hours.
People (like the whole gaming community) got so mad that the whole system was removed, but the damage was done. The game never really made that much money for EA and it died out. A shame cause this was so much fun, so well optimized, so good.

Use the ALT key to dodge, you can do it with any normal infantry, good to evade shots, with jedi or sith it's good to move quickly too.

If you do co-op multiplayer missions, you play against bots but can level up your classes still. So it’s far easier to unlock the one shot sniper on that with a lot less time/effort

When you are playing sniper there should be a button to dual zoom also play co op mode where you just kill ai all the time but you can get the one shot sniper from it

Huge sale right now! Just purchased it to play again and I haven't played this game since 2017.
For the sniper class, I like to use star cards to upgrade my macro binoculars, replace the shock grenade with the stinger pistol, and increase the battle points earned. I prefer using the middle ability to move from one vantage point to another, as it allows the sniper to travel quickly while also be invisible to enemy radar. I like to use the stinger pistol for close combat to save on the middle ability, as well as the fact that it is good on heroes since it continues to damage enemies even after you've died. I use the macro-binoculars a lot to scout out targets, as well as using the ability to tag enemies. With the upgraded macro-binoculars I think allies can see who you've tagged as well.
So happy you got a chance to play it. To many pl dont play it bc of the press. It is trully sad.

I wanted to play battlefront 1 but no one was online in the morning last Sunday, so much dlc on there.
Imagine this was in 2015. The use of photogrammetry in that game was unmatched and still rivals games coming out this year.
I miss playing this game, for some reason my game stopped working on PC. Each time I re-install, it comes up with the same issue. No connection when the internet is definitely working fine. I can't seem to find a fix.

I'm quite a veteran in Battlefront 2 and it is hands down my personal favorite videogame. On Xbox this game is kept alive by a really incredible community.
It's such a great game and gives so much star wars nostalgia. The upgrades are definitely worth putting time into and learning they can really change how you play with characters including the heroes/villains.
Also give the heroes Vs villains mode a go!
When you play the heavy when you have your shield on crouch so the enemy can't shoot your feet to still deal damage

Ya this game is so worth a try anyone who hasn't played it should try it. It is so polished and is an extremely unique entry into the genre. A battlefront three with a continuing flow of content updates like fortnite could be one of the biggest games ever even the fortnite killer its self
It's only good now because we complained how they were going to release it as a play to win. Go watch some videos of when it was first released. It's good now but sucked at release.
