- In this video, I check out all of the new content added to Star Wars Battlefront 2 from the new Battlefront expanded mod. This mod adds over 23 new heroes, 20 reinforcements, and 2 new vehicles to the game. his mod adds iconic star wars heroes like the Mandalorian, Bo Katan, IG-88, the second sister, Commander Cody, Crosshair, and more! All of these new heroes have custom weapons and abilities for players to try out in Star Wars Battlefront 2! Bit disappointed Plo Koon's abilities didn't include Electric Judgement
I think the health pools are a little off for some of the Characters, Jango should have at least 700 and Windu should have 800, I imagine him as the Light Sides tank akin to Vader just a little faster but less durable.
They all replace the old characters right?
@@copeee835 no I believe in this case these are full on additions to the hero roster. This means you'll only be able to play the modmonline with other users of the mod, but it's really really dope, even offline.
@@DawnApon I remember when Kyber was alive we played these grand mods online with other players, on full lobbies, it was just amazing. We even tried a modded Mygeeto map once, though it always crashed when entering ship phase.
I wish there could have been a marketplace on battlefront 2 where you could download addons (consoles too, and others can see your skin and diff abilities

They should have also give both Cal and Ventrass a way to connect and detach their lightsabers. Also they should have given Plo Koon his Force Judgement attaxk

With this Mod I hope they continue to add more heroes from other Star Wars games and lore, like some more of the Inquisitors or Taron Malicos and maybe some of the extended characters like Darth Revan and Galen Marek (Jedi)/Darth Starkiller (Sith), there is so much you can add to this game and I hope it keeps getting updates like the original SW:BF2 did for years to come

To be fair to IG-88, Bossk also drops his grenades at his feet, but they’re trip mines so I guess a bit different.
IG-88 should've had the passive ability of self destruction as in the mandolorian series IG-88 self destructed to avoid capture

Imperial Navy Commando, imperial Evo Trooper, Imperial Commander, Imperial Heavy Trooper from Force unleashed were the most badass looking imperial troops

So happy to see Rex in the game, he’s my fav Star Wars character but I do wish his model looked a bit better, I’m not really a fan of it, would have preferred to see his full captain uniform, unless there are skin variants then it’s cool but his abilities seem great
Edit: I do see when he hovers Rex it shows “appearances” so there are alternate skins which makes me happy

My experience with this mod:
I spend 4 hours reinstalling BF2 for pc.
Doesn’t come with the imperial stormtrooper commander in BF+, which is in the load order for this mod.
I go without it anyway using the mods that are in the loose order of BF expanded’s page
The game can’t get past the trooper helmet screen.
I spent around 6 hours in total getting nowhere.

Have you seen the Star wars battlefront mod on Contractors VR? It's pretty insane
Fragout if you have a VR headset try out contractors and go to mods. Someone modded in battlefront 2 clone wars. It’s so much fun and I think you would love it.
I wish bf2 did it like farming sim where you can download approved mods which would make the game a lot more interesting
It absolutely breaks my heart to think about how about how they cancelled the game right as they were picking up speed with DLC. Dennis the head dev even said that they had Ahsoka, Ventress and Mustafar pretty much ready to go as the next release, but they were forced to pull support 😒

How do these moded heroes look for other players? This has always been a question of mine. Do the heroes appear as different units, or do players without the mod see the modded character as is?

I don’t think you can access them in multiplayer
Usually it is a mod only server. So it could be multi-player but you have to download the mods to join the server.
For mods that add characters like this, multiplayer servers require all players to have that mod. For mods that change the appearance of already existing heroes you can play regular multiplayer servers they just won't see it

So i have a problem with this mod and i can not find any solution for it now. The textures of the characters are not loading in normally. spacing out or invisible. I tried the fixes and stuff but that doesn't seem to work. Got any tips? Love the gameplay keep it up !!!

I know you have to change to ea desktop in the launcher options of frosty... but it just opens the ea desktop but wont launch the game.... so frustrating
