I've said before that JJ's understanding of the game makes him sound almost psychic sometimes, but @1:48:42 he sounds *actually* psychic, LOL. If that 9 had dropped, it would be the stuff of legends.

man that was intense that wasn't a game, that was a psychological warfare... and i'm here watching it behind a monitor cant comprehend how it would have felt in there.

Lol, i love Albin face and body expression. It really works for him, make him really tough and can create some luck for him since it effects somehow on his opponent mind.

Matchroom is the king of dead air time. They think we enjoy looking at the screen with nothing happening. I try to avoid them but on occasions they have a match I want to watch.

I would assume it's because these matches are live streamed. They upload the stream to CZcams after the fact. Not to mention, you can literally just skip ahead - not really that complicated.

Do they really have to replay every shot???? I don't like shot clocks but one would have made this match a little less boring.

Albin shot well when he had too but you have to admit that he was very lucky. Mario got frustrated towards the end for sure

Small racker makes the whole rack loose. The bigger racker will help. Hopefully this year will fix this. Kinda feel bad for dry breaks

Tired of hearing about the purple five? Help get the WPA involved by stating a regulation
regarding the colors of the sets of balls
    ⚽️ 🏈 🏀⚾️🎾🏐
    Every other sport with
Balls, regulates Everything about the balls at the Professional level.
Why should pool players suffer because of the whim of one organization
    (or one person’lady’ )
    Someone help me to
    request the WPA,
    ( WORLD POOL &
    Billiard Organization)
    to make a Ruling!
    Thank You. !

Oh oh, seems to just prove my point re: Purple five ball. The commentator just said
( game 11 ) ( in describing placement of a ball) purple four
    ball. See,its automatic
if you have played with a purple four all of your life, and there
has been no discernible reason to
change the purple four to a purple five,of
course players still shoot the purple ball after the red ball, and
Commentators still see a purple ball and
    think ‘four’.
    Why did you do it
    Matchroom? With a
    continuing lack of
    response, it seems the
arbitrary act of changing the ball color was a totally
    asinine act.
    What say you ?

I believe they changed the color scheme so that it’s easier to tell which ball is which if you’re watching on tv. I believe I remember hearing that in an interview with the director of Match Room Pool.

      @charlesfair1582 Před 9 měsíci

Br00total. That makes absolutely no sense. You should think about that.
      I won’t even try.
      Just THINK!

    • @charlesfair1582
      @charlesfair1582 Před 9 měsíci

On second thought I will try to explain about the color and TV.
This took place maybe before there was Matchroom pool.
      Probably the BCA,PBT
      , and WPBA and Accu
-Stats (Isay probably because I was not privy to the decision.)
in all their wisdom decided to change the color of the four ball
      from purple to pink.
And that was supposed to make it easier to identify the
      balls on tv. Of course
that was a flop. The problem was not the color of balls, but a few other things.Like
      camera lenses, lighting, angles. etc.
      They learned all that
      later.But now the pink
four was used to and a
set of balls that included a pink four was referred to as a
      TV set of balls.
Well, no big deal, that didn’t involve moving a color from one number to another spot in the numerical order. That is what
      Matchroom has done.
Many, many players have shot the wrong ball in tournament play. (Including such players as Jason Shaw ). Now people are losing $$$,through no fault of their own.
      It is Matchroom’s fault
Now removing the orange five and replacing it with the purple four’s color confused not only the players but the
      commentators, and the spectators.
And there is no reason for it.
No pool room, no other Pool Organization,no pool tour IN THE WORLD
      uses a purple five ball.
Every sport has stipulations as to many things, including
Equipment. we used to have. We should again. The WPA was
given the reins to govern billiards sports. Other strong
Organization’s stepped down in agreement to let the
      WPA run the show.
Hopefully to get us into the Olympics.
      We were doing better
      before (IMO) Come on
WPA, here is a chance to do your job!
Regulate the pool balls. (and the organizers) thus the players. Actually, Every thing is (or should be) about the players. Non of you exist without the players.
The purple five does nothing to help the game. It does do a lot to cause injury to the
      Sport.
      Come on WPA . Please
      adios
