In this video we see how to create an index column or generate Row Number in Power BI Visualization Using DAX.We will be making use of the ROWNUMBER() Dax Function to achieve this.
Examples :
SalesRankWithinYear = ROWNUMBER(ORDERBY([SalesAmount], DESC), PARTITIONBY([CalendarYear]))
SalesRankAllHistory = ROWNUMBER(ORDERBY([SalesAmount], DESC))
