I don't often cry while watching fictional works, but even I teared up a bit with this one. The part at the end where the now-adult son imitates his deceased father's gesture really hits deep.

Just have to say this video hits right at home...I lost my father to cancer when I was 24 and my family was heart broken and at 27 I decided to go back to college and graduated 2 years ago and with my mother standing in the crowd so proud of me I can only imagine it played out just like this video.. Just goes to show that unfortunately life throws us curve balls but me must enjoy every moment we have together and cherish the times we have together

I always tell my husband Bryon, who I've been with for 20 years, married 10 that we are Legends. This song is our song. I think of us, I hear the words of this song. Though the video is sad, it reminds me to love love and love my husband every day. I so appreciate him, and we will too, always stay lost in forever.

I cry every single time I listen to this song, because it really hits me deep. just watching them so in love just makes me so jealous because my parents got divorced back in 2019, so just seeing the two actors seem so in love just wishes that my parents could love each other in that way.
Praying for your heart Tallor; I know separation of two people you love can be hard. Opening up your heart to feeling love and honestly allowing yourself to "feel" is a part of healing, and so glad you are being open and allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that come along with it. People are so complex; the way we interact, our relationships, decisions (and everything else) are a sum of past experiences, trauma, hopes, dream, wishes, fears, etc.
We may never understand why/how the decisions others make fully. But...we can take something from our experiences, keep ourselves open to goodness and love that wants to find us, give grace (since we are all human), be real and authentic with how we are experiencing things (some things just suck and hurt, and it is okay to allow yourself feel those emotions for a season), and also use our experiences to ultimately empower ourselves and lives as lived experiences.
