The Tenways AGO X is a sleek-looking commuter e-bike with plenty of adventuring potential! We talk about the bike’s performance and components in this Tenways AGO X review.
One of the first things to stand out to us about the AGO X was its fantastic handling; with 770 mm handlebars, steering was responsive and precise. The 29”x2.25” tires maneuvered smoothly while providing great stability when moving and braking.
With a 250W mid-drive motor, the AGO X provided a natural-feeling ride much like a non-electric bike - just with a boost! The motor dispenses more power when it’s needed thanks to the torque sensor that responds to the amount of pressure on the pedals.
The AGO X is relatively unique in the world of commuters; the bike’s gearing, motor, handlebars, and suspension fork give it serious potential for riding off-road.

E-Bike Question of the Day ⚡🚴 Where do you plan to let your AGO X take you? Let us know in the comments below 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Thanks for the complete review, it answered exactly those questions that you can't find out from the Specs or Overview on the website . Good job.
Glad you found it helpful! That's why we do what we do!
I would love to see some of the features on the other AGO bike incorporated here. For instance, a drop in battery from the top, gates, belt, Drive, and the Eviolo rear hub. And why not throw in the adjustable stem and upswept handlebars as an option?
Good review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Hey Guys. Happy New Year and greetings from Ireland. I'm trying to decide between the AGO and the Trek FX +2. They both cost about the same here and while the AGO gives us 80nm of torque and the FX 2+ has 40nm, the Trek did slightly better on the hill test. Is this down to the weight of the bike?
Happy New Year! So you're on the right track with weight being a factor, but the difference in motor placement also contributes. Rear hub motors usually do a little better than mid-drives since they sort of push the bike along. On those two bikes, the difference is pretty marginal though. They're very different bikes, but also both really great choices!
I just completed assembly of the AGOX and before going for the first ride, I noticed that the left brake lever goes staright to the handlebar with no braking action in the rear wheel !! Any idea as to problem ?
Sounds like it may not have brake fluid?
Are the handlebars adjustable so they can rotate further upwards?
You could loosen up the stem and rotate the bars for some small adjustment, but without adding spacers to the stem, the handlebar height is not adjustable.
If they’d put a belt drive on this with a geared motor instead of a chain and derailleur that would’ve been great.
Nice bike
It sure is!
I listen for 10 minutes never heard the price
Link is in the video description. Prices change a lot so we link for current pricing.
